MCA @MMMUT, Gorakhpur Batch(2022-24)

I would rate MCA from this college is average because there are several reasons behind that, low availability of placements, Btech is preffered here above MCA , in my batch 20-25 students are placed till now from 73. Companies Visited @Accenture @IBM @Universities for ASST. PROF. role. College should remove preference for any coarse they should allow MCA to showcase their skills. MCA semester exams are always on time and held accoridng to academic calendar which is released every year. Exams level is moderate but some Professors make tough papers. Real-world applications practical are not provided by any faculties. I choosed this college because it's a government institute and its Alumni connections are very strong and due to its reputation in Btech ,i think that MCA is also a technical coarse i should choose it but MCA is not that much good here.

Placement for MCA is average. Average package is 3 to 3.5 lacs per annum. After first semester MCA students are eligible to apply for the visited companies. In my time @Accenture @IBM and other Non tech role offered by various companies. Some universities are also visited to offer Asst. Prof. roles to MCA students. Highest Package 4.5 LPA. Placement Percentage is 30-40%.

As fee structure changes every year but in my time(2022-24) Tution fee for 2 years - 125500 Hostel fee - 24000 per year Mess fee - 15000 per semester Scholarship is provided by UP Government all the tution fees is returned as scholarship by the gov. Only few companies visit campus for MCA students ,some not allows MCA students , and sometimes college not prefer MCA students for a company. At college level if you have better skills you can join to work on a college websites and departments.

I am the Executive Member of my Department's Society . Focusing on extracurricular activities college provides various clubs, societies and all are connected through social media. These societies provides personality grooming at different levels. Events are of two types Formal and Informal. In our university variouos annual events are also held every year like Annual Sports meet, Annual informal evemt @ABHYUDAYA. Library is good, books are also borrowed for free by students and library is closed only on holidays and sundays.

Hostel rooms below average. I stayed in Ambedkar Hostel and food quality is good in comparison to outer local mess food. Registration of Hostel is done at counselling level and you should not provide any extra fee if you wish to change your plans to live in hostel as fees are not returned by college. Local rent facility are also available out of the campus for non hostellers. 2bhk rent is near about 6000 rupees.

You can take admission here by qualifying CUET PG examination. Counselling is done by college not by CUET. Counselling fee - 2000 My percentile is 97+ Various category reservations are provided to UP students. You should check @mmmut.ac.in website regularly after the counselling procedures are started.

As in university there are several Guest faculties, Professors, and Asst. Prof are available some Professors are very good in terms of teaching ,communication, etc. and some are average ,as they are well educated and studied their higher education in well reputed organizations but i found not only me 905 of my batchmates are agree on this. Guest faculties are not giving their best or even average to students ,they only try to complete syllabus and sometime not even the syllabus.
