Dislikes

Not so much fests like other college bcz of govt college
Jaipur and udaipur colleges are in rural area
Non teaching staff is not good as it is a govt college

Course Curriculum Overview

My decision to choose this course is motivation for serving animals as I grown up in very animal friendly environment. There are 4 exams 3 internal and 1 final exams in a seasion in which you must have to give 2 internals and a final exam

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 6340 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship provided in different different colleges of rajasthan accomadation will be provided by colleges. There is very vast range for internship programs you get too much to learn about breeds and treatments.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee for general is 17140 and for others is 6340Rs for regular seat and 300000 per annum+regular fees for payment seat.I have regular seat so my cost of study is very less. Some scholarships are also available you can contact student corner for this.

Campus Life

Some Festivals parties arranged at college and Freshers fest also arranged by seniors. Library has vast range of books regarding course. Volley ball badminton and cricket is provided as sportsin the campus.

Hostel Facilities

For first six room is not provided into hostel to ensure antiragging but you can rent a room beside college college student section may also help with it. Meal quality is average Hostel is very affordable around only1000/- rs month

Hostel Fee: INR 5800 per year

Admission

You have to give NEET exams to admit this course. You can apply for state quota seat through RAJUVAS site and all india seat through VCI counselling. Reservation benifits for benefits vary year to year because admissions process based on NEET merits.

Faculties are good in number as well as good in experience also. They teach you in very good and practical approach You are assigned with a councillor on first day if you have any problems regarding college and study you can discuss him

Previously veterinary had a semester pattern. Now, it's a yearly pattern with a total of 4 exams each year. 3 internal exams and 1 external exam. Many profs prefer ppts but the best ones give handwritten notes and make you write in class without relying too much on tech.

Life at ACVM

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Vsc and AH is a five and a half year unndergrad program, in which you will study about the animal, their diagnosis, treatment, nutrition, genetic development and what not. You will study about Ruminants, Dogs, Cats Horses, Birds, Lab Animals as well as Captie wild animals also. You will be facing three internal exams along with externals. They can be tough but the trick is learning, sitting for tests and revision. This program may seem easy but it is more tough and complex than any other medical program, as you will be dealing with multiple animal species at a time.

I didnot apply for any other colleges as i was mostly interested in being a veterinary doctor since my 10th and i was prepared for the NEET exam. So my target was to get into a veterinary college. Since i didn't get to any other colleges, i didn't get rejections over there. I got a college according to my NEET allotment. Admission process in the college is through NEET exam and Rajasthan state exam for Medical students for their state quota and 30% for management seats. Eligibility is 50% for 12th grade with 2nd group science with biology, chemistry and physics. The cutoff of NEET was nearly 590 marks in All india quota according to NEET 2024.
