Course Curriculum Overview
Nowadays the new comprehensive curriculum is applied all over India so our college also following the same. It includes theoretical knowledge and practical knowledge at the same time. First theory is taught by the faculty then the practical application is taught by live demonstration on the patient. Even a visit to the operation theatre is also provided to clear the clinical concept.
Internships Opportunities
The internship is provided by the government with a stipend of 12500. It exposes us to different scenarios in the hospital. It's all about gaining experience in the medical field so that the chance of doing errors by doctors can be minimized. A 1-week emergency posting is also done.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee includes academic, hostel fee, and electricity fees. 10 thousand security money is deposited during the admission and is refunded at the end of completion of the course. Gen fee: 29800 Obc/st/sc fee: 19800 There are caste-based scholarships. An examination fee is also required to write the professional exams. It is the lowest fee for mbbs course in the government medical college.
Campus Life
After getting admission the first function of the college is the fresher's party. After that annual function named Rhythm is organized by mbbs students every year. Books are available but journals are not available. Classrooms are fully centralized and air-conditioned. Modern teaching styles are well opted by faculty members. Sports week is organized by the college and we enjoyed a lot in it. Social groups on Instagram and Telegram are available.
Admission
First of all, it's for those students who want to make a career in the medical field. Our college offers courses:- DM, DNB, Mbbs, DMLT, and nursing courses. Admission occurs through either neet pg in postgraduate courses or neet ug for undergraduate courses. The cutoff rank for MBBS courses in this college is around 12500. All the candidates who have passed their 12th with PCB as mainstream can take admission. Councelling occurs through updgme or all india counseling portals. The admission process is smooth.
Faculty
All the department have a head of department, 3 to 5 assistant professor and junior resident. HODs are highly qualified like done md or ms or even DM or mch in there respective field. Assistant professor mostly are post graduate but have experience in there field. Jrs are either ug passed or don't there pg in the same college. Some senior resident are also there to teach us
