Course Curriculum Overview

4

From my childhood my parents dream was to make me a doctor as this is a noble profession which everyone wants to seek..this curriculum helps me to gain confidence, emotions in myself...this is so difficult to handle because this needs a full of patience and understanding

Internships Opportunities

4

We have to sign a bond of service of 1 yr excluding internship internship is a part of mbbs curriculum it is of 1 yr we are given a good exposure in that yr..postings are held in various nearby villages which help us to deal with the patient

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for reserved caste is less which also include thefamily income as my family income is less than 8 lakh I had to pay less fees which is very helpful for me as I'm from a middle lower class family..we have financial crises aswell..this fees structure made my study easier

Campus Life

3.5

The college life I expected fits truly here..I come to enjoy everything study and games also...I became socially aware about all the things due to this...this college provided us with games and has a good infrastructure with well cleaned halls and playground as well

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel is very good and livable at very less price...all backward class students can afford it..it is well kept and cleaned everyday...our accomodation is 3 persons per room with separate cupboards, chairs, tables and cots

Admission

The admission process went very smooth..the cut off for my category was 560 and I scored 588 ...the admission process needed a chunk of documents which was very time taking and also it was needful ..I didn't like this

Faculty

3.5

Faculty is very experienced...they teach us to their fullest with applied knowledge..they guide us so that we can use that knowledge in our further practice..they sometimes also shout us for not studying and getting less marks in exams

The course is standard for all MBBS courses. There are theory lectures and practical classes. Hospital exposure begins in the second year onwards. Current revisions in the course like introduction of logbook etc are unnecessary and time consuming.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is definately a tough course. along with being tough, it also puts some responsibilities on your shoulders as you will be treating real people with real problems in the real world as you complete this course. while studying, students should focus more on 'why' and 'how' type questions than 'what' type of questions. the major exams are conducted in 9 semesters . each semester is of 6 months + 1 year of compulsary internship.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The current curriculum is comprehensive based curriculum. Here practical knowledge is more important than bookish knowledge. So now spending more time in wards is of greater importance. Exams are held accordingly - 2 internals, 1 prilims and 1 University held by MUHS. Each exam is followed by practical examination. This curriculum will help to build good doctors rather than bookish doctors.
