The subject of Biotechnology is of great importance and is very new and interesting too. The subjects offered are relevant and insightful as they offer knowledge on all aspects of the field. The curriculum is in correspondence to the syllabus of entrance exams like GATE making the preparation easier. We have exams every 4 months. The schedule is decent but there are lesser gaps than required between exams. The practical exams are sometimes conducted in the gaps between the exams.

The fees I'm paying is ?1,37,000. 100%, 50%, and 25% scholarships are available for students who secure above 75% marks in class 12th Board exams. There is 10% scholarship for students who we're studying in Amity's schools. There are summer training and internship programs starting from 2nd year. In 1st year we are given a topic to write a review paper on. And in 2nd year we had in-house training in our college laboratories for a month where we did research work on a specific topic.

The Annual sports event held in college is Sangathan which is inter departmental, and we have a cultural even called Amiphoria too, which involves several dance and musics events. We have several clubs that offer several activities and events, like Aasha Club, Khayal e Adab, Mimesis, etc. All clubs organise their respective events regularly and are passionate about what they do. Aasha club is a women oriented club that aims to create a safe space for all students to share their problems and ensure their safety on campus.

Students who'd opted for PCM/B in intermediate were eligible for the course. The application form was available on the official website of the college. The entrance test was very easy. I had not attempted any competitive or entrance exams prior to this. There were 20 objective type questions and I wrote the answers down on a sheet of paper and sent a picture of it to the authorities. The admission process should be more difficult and challenging so that students have scope to improve and do better

The strength of the class is moderate (30-40), which encourages more interaction between teachers and students. The teachers are very kind and helpful and immediately any assistance that is needed of them. They are highly qualified too.
