Reputed university is not what you dream of.

It was a new specialization stream which i thought would make the classes much more interactive amd interesting but nothing new was taught. As a matter of fact the curriculum was old without any major improvements. Some faculty actually taughts us through youtube videos as they did not know how to explain comcepts.

From the seventh semester, you are eligible for placement only if you pay the tuition and portal fees. The company that visits the campus for placement does not give an offer letter more nearly a year after completion of graduation or exam completion. A few companies like Accenture or OpenText drop the students from the hiring list after selecting them for placement right before a month of graduation where there are only 1-2 companies you can apply to. Companies like Renault Nissan do not even interview shortlisting you for it. And there is no support from placement management regarding this.

There is no such policy. They randomly keep on increasing tuition fees. For me, it was 3.5 lpa but for students who joined from successive year, it was around 5lpa. Where as nothing has improved. Its not worth the teaching or educational experience. Its much better to study at a local university or nearby universities like KU. No campus employment help was provided. I was charged for gaining access to the placement portal but still did not receive any placement from campus to date. The management threatened to block me from the portal if there was any delay while paying tuition fees.

There was only one fest "milan" where onlyfew people attended as it was expensive to attend and not very productive. The facilities were bad as there was always a malfuntion be it with lift or toilets or the electricity. No sports activities. And the clubs and student groups are not much supported.

Do not stay in hostel of SRM at any cost. The securty is very lazy. There have even been accidental deaths due to secutity and the college bus drivers negligence. The food is bad and there is always one problem or other with the hostel services. Its much more secure to stay in PGs or flats like abode valley or ecstantia. Its much more feasible and secure.

I did give a written test which was not of any use since my scholarship was revoked due to late admission. No reservation beenefits. They need to make a lot of improvement since a college who recently completed his/her intermediate is not aware of all the options and of his interests in the education it is pursuing.

The faculties were not good. A few of them were helpful and were trying to guide us for a good career start. I did a specialization in Blockchain Technology which was taught to me in only one semester. The faculty for that was new who did not have any idea about what blockchain actually is, even few students were much better at teaching those concepts to other syufents then the faculty
