Likes

Teaching and non- teaching staff are very good.
I took admission because of their placement rate. It has a quite good placement rate compare to many big Colleges in Mumbai.

Dislikes

Infrastructure: I didn't like the infrastructure of college

Course Curriculum Overview

Our curriculum is very easy as compare to Mumbai University. It doesn't mean that we don't have enough subject or we don't learn enough. We have many coding languages to learn. In our first year itself we learned c , python, html, css.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship start from third year's. They organise a job fair for us where we get interviewed for internship. If we want we can get internship in second year too but we have to do it on our own. They provide guidance in internship interview.

Placement Experience

Placement rate is quite nice in our college. Big companies come every year for on-campus placements. Companies like visa, Accenture , bank of america, Infosys, Deutsche Bank etc vist Every year. We can take off campus placement too but it's on our own.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is based on caste. For open its 1,60,116 in first year. For sc it's 23,616 . For obc it's 99,616. For st, vj, dt, nt, sbc its 39,116. For tfws it's 39,116. For EWS/sebc it's 99,616. But they provide us a ebc scholarship where they return some amount of our fees every year. If we have payed 160116 then they will return 60,000 of money back.

Campus Life

We have technical council in our college. Campus Life is average. They give fresher's party to first year students. As it's a girl's college there's competition only for miss fresher. We also have our biggest fest 'Arcanes' . Every year in arcanes many colleges come for participation.

Admission

Cut for ce branch was 91 and I took admission in data science branch it's cut off was 78 . Admission process went smooth as Teachers were very supportive and helpful. They even assure our parents that we are safe in their college.

Faculty

Teachers are very approachable. If we have any problem we can ask them any time they never complain about it. Teaching is average but some teachers teach very nice. They always helps us to learn new things.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. i applied in difffrent colleges like ST. Francis college of engineering, borivali , Atharva college of engineering , malad etc. I didnt make it there as being a student belonging to the open category the cutoff for my desired branch was a bit higher whereas my college provided me with an opportunity to be eligibible for my desired branch.
