Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of this university is unique and different than other existing universities which helps student to enhance their knowledge and develop their skills. The curriculum focuses on both Hardskills and soft skills which are useful at job place.

Internships Opportunities

Many internships are offered by various companies from the end of 1st year. Later internships from renowned companies are offered to 3rd year students with interviews which check their coding skills and knowledge.

Placement Experience

In 3rd year, placements take place. Companies like Accenture, Colgate, Deloitte, JP morgan, Bank of America, TCS, L&T visit the campus for placements. Placement training is provided by the college itself.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure here differs course wise as for Data Science it is 1,60,000/- for General category and decreases as per reservation categories. You can apply for government or bank scholarships later which are introduced at college.

Campus Life

Every 2 months there's a festival or function which makes the atmosphere of the college livable. The biggest fest which is Arcanes, is the most special one as famous guests are invited at the college.

Admission

Student is admitted on the basis of MHTCET or JEE marks. MhtCet is given the first priority for admission. If any document is remaining then it becomes hectic for the candidate to get admitted. So check your all documents once.

The faculties here are with Btech, BE, Mtech, PhD and experienced in their teaching subjects. If you feel that you aren't able to understand then you can personally meet them to clarify your doubts anytime.

An Honest Review

Placement Experience:

The Campus placement of VNIT Nagpur is good enough. Students of 7th and 8th semesters are elegible for campus placement. Many companies visited in the campus some prominent names were google, Microsoft, amazon, Goldman Sachs, and many core companies such as bajaj, HPCL,BPCL etc. the number of offers made was 760 in 2024 and placement percentage was around 80 percent.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

LIFE AT USHA MITTAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.

i applied in difffrent colleges like ST. Francis college of engineering, borivali , Atharva college of engineering , malad etc. I didnt make it there as being a student belonging to the open category the cutoff for my desired branch was a bit higher whereas my college provided me with an opportunity to be eligibible for my desired branch.
