Some students are my close ones who are studying here in this college. You will get daily questions for practice. Your teachers are always present for the help of students. Your complaint takes sooner action.

Fees and Financial Aid

There's no tuition fee.. The complete cost for the students in whole 4 years is 8 - 10 lac. And the hostel fee for the students is 33000 and the messages charges is 3000. NRI and non NRI rooms are also here in this college.

Campus Life

There's no such festivals celebrated, but the hostelers are allowed to celebrate their festivals along with their friends and seniors... The local festivals are celebrated by the college. Official and unofficial freshers are celebrated here... Sports meet us also here in this college.. All over there's also fully enjoyment in this college.

Hostel Facilities

There's AC and non AC rooms in the hostels. The food is served for 3 time in whole 24 hrs. Menu is not such like the home. And non veg is not prepared in the mess. You can order it individually.

Hostel Fee: INR 36000 per year

Admission

You should clear the NEET Exam first. After clearing the competitive exam, you will get the application from the baba Farid University officially and the application fees is around 15000 - 20000. Reservations are also here in this college.

Faculty

The faculty is also very good for the students... The students who come to this college become hardworking students and the teachers make the brain of the students sharp and as I am doing BDS, so it's quiet tough to study... And as such the studies you will ensure yourself as a good future doctor...

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do this degree since I was in 12th class. I wanted to be a doctor either by doing BDS or MBBS. This curriculum of a degree prepares well for the real words so that we can start our own practice, but you have to be willing to learn if you do not learn in your college properly. Then you might have to learn from outside, but it prepares you well for the real life. The exams are held once at the end of every year and the difficulty level of exams is moderate to high, so you have to study very seriously if you want to pass with good marks After the theory exams, they take the practical exams and there is equal mark distribution between theory and practical, and you have to obtain 50% marks for passing

The B.D.S alone in itself is not that fruitful due to surge of dentists in India. Although, if one can set private clinic and can run it it's a wonderful career. Certain basic things are limited for MDS students although they can be tought to the BDS students too.

Struggle for the dental students of patiala

Course curriculum is not well oriented by the officials Things we need to know for doing patients are not well taught bcoz that's is what we need for MDS (post graduation) so they donot teach them now Which is wrong So according to me Clinical stuff and practicals should be more concetrated on instead of theoretical study There need to be a mid term exam conducted likewise in MBBS for better preparation Proper test which are not regularly conducted should be there Teachers need to be hired Posts for teachers are vacant Teaching staff needs to teach students instead of pgs

I applied for other colleges near my area in Punjab for doing BDS one was Shri sukhmani dental College near national dental College, but my recent to choose national Dental College for that I researched and I found out that it has great faculty and more patient flow as compare to the other college, so I chose it I tried in other government colleges also, but due to my marks, I did not get in there, but I was okay with this College also The admission process, you just have to give NEET and then on the basis of your marks, you have to fail your preference of the colleges in the Counselling grounds and in the results, you get the desire, College, and after you are selected under one College, it is your decision to keep it or you have to apply for one more, Counselling after that, you just have to submit your required documents in the college with the fees...Read More
