Course Curriculum Overview

4

So I choose computer science and engineering as I was fascinated towards computers and coding stuff that's why I choose this stream. The curriculum is not up to date it is still the same as it was 10 years ago so we have to study the irrelevant stuff with regards to todays world. The curriculum should be revised and teachers should focus on more of a practical approach. So exams are held basically two times in six months one is mid sem and other is end sem difficulty level of exam is easy to moderate.

Placement Experience

2

Student becomes eligible after 3rd year that is 6 th semester in my case most of the companies that visited were of sales and marketing offer very less amount. Just think after studying computer science engineering they ask you to sit for marketing and sales companies. The average package was around 3.5 - 4 LPA after getting the degree I will pursue for higher studies

Fees and Financial Aid

So the tution fee increase every year in my time the hike was like 10000 ever year. The complete of my education including everything (hostel, message, other services) is around 8-10 lakhs. So the first scholarship is given on the based of class 12 percentage then if the student scores more than 8.5 CGPA then their scholarship continues. I got a placement in a service based company offering 3.25 LPA with a 2 years bond period , i declined the offer.

Campus Life

1.5

So the social life of this college is worst there are no fests or events held. Very poor management of the events. The library is good they have access to lot of Books and journals. So in class they have whiteboard and a projector. There are good opportunities for sports and extracurricular activities. There are very less clubs or social groups most of them are irrelevant and waste of time.

Admission

The admission process is very simple they don't conduct any test they just want students no matter whether the student is good enough or not. Eligibility is the student should have scored more than 60% in boards. The exams are held twice in each semester one is mid sem and other is end sem. The improvement should be done in admission process they should conduct a test to check whether the student is capable enough or not.

Faculty

3

Some faculty is actually good they have done PhD and have strong knowledge of subject and are always ready to help but on the other hand there are few faculty that are not so good. Faculty to student ratio is bad as there is very less faculty and the experience faculty leaves the college. Yes we can interact with teachers anytime we want

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it 6/10 because first year subjects and all are mostly unnecessary i guess. Its not required that much. There should be more focus on coding and problem solving in college which is often neglected.frequency and timing are fine of exams.

Yes that is true there is placements happened but average and low placement ratio there is because of students skills but for employability you can placed out of campus that is good option . After getting degree did mtech was good or other government like exam there was option and also out of campus placement with enough skill demand is a better option more than college placements

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate as comparatively less companies visits every year. Number of students for placements are more and companies visits are less that cause less placement ratio for on campus. Moreover upto the end of 8th semester almost 80% of students get placed both including on campus and off campus. My plan is to get a job after graduation.

The placements in sage university Bhopal are quite satisfying as the average package over here is 5,00,000 per year, with top packages going for about 10,00,000 per year. Along with that, many internships are also offered here.
