Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

My course is ECE, though I know it's a tough branch but I chose it because I knew the college also heard about it, that this college placements are pretty good. If we talk about curriculum in each semester you have 2 major exams which we call mid and end and also 1 minor mini test. And I think it's the same as IITs, so we are following iits curriculum. For the improvements yes there is a need to have more practical assignments than just writing. Because students just copy and paste the assignment which is not at all good. As I mentioned above about the exam that in each semester we have 2 exams mid and end and also one mini test. Timing of these exams are, in the first month there is mini test and in second-third month we have mid and in last month of sem we have end

Internships Opportunities

4.5

At the start of the third year, companies visit colleges like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, de Shaw, etc. which provide internship opportunities to students and also the PPO according to the work. Microsoft provides more than 1 lakh stipend per month same as Google. You have to prepare your resume and skills before that so you can avail the benefit.

Placement Experience

4

In starting of the third year companies come for internships in big mncs also come like Google Amazon Microsoft etc. The highest package is offered by Atlassian at 82lpa and the average is 15 LPA. In my branch, 60 percent of student get placed. I plan to get sde job so I will sit for the placements only.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fees structure for the general category is 1,50,000 almost for 1st year. And mess fees is 27500 per year. If you are domicile of mp, you will get the benefit of the mmvy scheme in which if your income is below 6 lpa government will give your fees. only you have to give mess fees.

Campus Life

4.5

Roobaro, tooryanaad, ecell, and maffick are the annual events which happen every year. There are many societies, in which you can take part. There is a central Library in the main building which contains numerous books you can take any. Students getting the opportunity for the sports to perform and compete with other colleges Students run many society, and clubs which impact the life on students in good ways this helps them to communicate and also have some certificates for their resume.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

For first year student they get hostel 10 triple seater room have sufficient space in room. If we talk about mess it has 4 time meals a day Breakfast, lunch , snacks , dinner For hostel registration you have to pay the required money . Also if you do not like to take hostel in college you can also have pg outside the college, it is pretty much affordable and in close distance only. In mata mandir area you can get pg rooms

Admission

For the BTech, admission is through jee mains exam. You have to qualify for the exam and sit in josaa counseling. Where you will get the college. If we talk about cutoffs you have to get 98.5 percent for the ECE branch for the general category.

Faculty

4

I am not pretty sure about ratio of faculty and students but there are experienced and there teaching methods are understandable. You can easily interact them in class or after the class or if not possible you can also visit their department office. Every teacher listens student problems very deeply and ensures to solve it

Remarks:

The college is way too far from the main city that acts as a disadvantage for students who want to attend other classes for preparation of CAT or GATE considering the commute time. Also there are few outlets near the campus. It is still under construction.

There are some factors in which college is not good. They are like fines, study plans, not providing good facilities, not providing funds for organizing an event but some faculties are so good that they support you each time.

Remarks:

The college was good on the basis of education and faculty. Management which is involved in the finance department bit slow on their work as they will keep on prolonging the process for a month. And every time you go for semester fees paying they will always tell to bring all the previous documents. That is the only thing. otherwise, the college on the education front is good.
