Honest review on M.Sc (Nutrition and Dietetics)

They include all the relevant subjects to enhance the student's knowledge and skills in this specific stream. They divided each subject into three units which include sub-units, after completion of each unit MST will be conducted, and after the completion of all the units End Sem exams will be conducted. Teachers use aids to deliver their knowledge in the best possible way. They use visual presentations and practical applications of the same in labs. After completion of the first year, You have to choose a specialization in which you further want to continue your course. they offer specialization in clinical and Sports nutrition.

The fee for my course is approx. 55000 per semester. However, the university provides scholarships through the CUCET(Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test) exam which is conducted online and the pattern of the exam is quite simple. This is the admission cum scholarship exam, which gives you a scholarship according to the score that you get. You have to score above 7 CGPA to maintain the scholarship throughout your course otherwise you have to take the exam for the next year again. University provides on-campus placement opportunities to students which helps them to start their careers. The university also has a foreign exchange program where you get the opportunity to study abroad.

Chandigarh University celebrates every Indian as well as other countries' festivals and many NRI students are also there. The festivals were quite involving and interactive. These festivals provide students with a good opportunity to showcase their talent on the stage. Big fests like Tashan Nites, CU Fest, and many more are there where many Bollywood and Punjabi stars come and perform. The university has a dedicated sports ground and auditorium for outdoor and indoor sports respectively. All the students get the opportunity to show their talent on stage and the university also applauds them. there is a dedicated department for all cultural activities i.e., DACA.

The eligibility for this course is that you should have done your Bachelor's in Science, Home Science with more than 55%. You have to visit the university's official website to register yourself. After this, a counselor will contact you for further procedures. Then you have to pay the exam fee and undergo the exam on the mentioned date. Once you clear the exam the counselor will again contact you and ask to upload documents on the portal and then you have to pay the admission fee. You can pay the fee online or offline at your convenience. The only flaw in the process is that the document verification process takes a bit of time which should be improved.

They give their best to deliver their knowledge to students. The university also provides a mentor to help students throughout the course. The classroom has projectors that help faculty members to visually represent the content so that students can easily understand. Teachers also encourage students to take part in extracurricular activities.
