Course Curriculum Overview
Aquaculture - the best course in fisheries science it means the culture of aquatic organisms and aquatic plants. Aquaculture is my favorite subject The aquaculture area is spread all over Asia India ranks 2nd in aquaculture production, but still, it needs to be separated. It can be developed further, For this, there is a need to create more freshwater hatcheries, ponds, and reservoirs. Guiding farmers to improve the area, imparting their knowledge of new technology, providing financial support, and motivating students for aquaculture.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fees were not much, it was medium, 10000 per year. Whatever the fees were, the same amount is refunded through a scholarship, used to get 10,000 as a scholarship, hostel's additional expense was separate, it was Rs 50,000 per year, The complete cost of the course is 4lakh approx. There is no responsibility for the job.
Campus Life
My 4th year college experience was very good. Annual function in college, Teachers day, Hindi day, Fish farmers day, Fisheries day, Gandhi Jayanti, Independence day, Republic day It is celebrated with great pomp and show. Apart from this there are also tours in the college, Sports activities are also conducted, Disaster related activities are taught , NSS, NCC, and Scout JC activities are conducted in the college, The college also has technical facilities for teaching.
Admission
Selection in Bfsc is done through JET entrance exam , and selection for master degree is done through Pre PG entrance exam , the entrance exams for both are held in June and July , Selection is based on rank and percentage, the level of JET exam is a little though but less marks are required to get a college And the level of pre PG is very easy but the seats are less. Reservation is given to SC, ST, EWS category which already exists.
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio in fisheries college is 15:150 in college campus It has all the teaching facilities and e-board has all the facilities. Teachers have good frank behavior with students, If you have any doubt, the teacher will solve it The teachers' teaching method is also very good, Teachers guide students and give them directions so that they can ,achieve their goals , students also respect teachers, The college has a very good atmosphere between teachers and students. All teachers are good and respective, They motivate the students,
