University of distance education (Madras University)

The course is designed in such a way that the majority of 11th and 12th accounts are covered in the 1st year then the rest high-level account are in the second and third years. Law and costing are introduced in the second year onwards. The majority of the economy is the part of first and second years. The management side is the core of the third year along with accounting standards.. Hence overall the curriculum is friendly for CA students and normal-grade students. So students can prepare in every dimension.

The fees are the minimum for a B.Com degree which is 7000 for 1st year 8000 for the second and 9000 for the third year along with it you have to pay examination fees of 100/ each and the hike in minimum tution is bare minimum considering the inflation and other college fees. I got no scholarships.

The campus is cool and majestic like a historic site plus it's near Marina so it makes it even more special but the college has no culture and events for the students so interaction is the least, as it is distance education. Madras University as the majority only come for exams and there are no club activities for distance education students. There are libraries and students can issue boos from there.

Well, there is no entrance exam to get into Madras University..to get admission you should visit the college after the admission procedure is stated get the form from the office, fill it up, have your transfer certificate, migration certificate, mark sheet, and valid proof Xerox ready and pay the fees get your id card and your admission is done. There is no minimum cutoff or anything..you should be passed, that's it. The exams are held each semester and are at an average level. The time to get a form and get admission is lengthy and long.

The classes are online and offline as the students prefer to attend or neither to attend because the college exams can be given without attendance so the facilities are average, the classes are optional, as it is a distance learning course. We can reach out to the teachers.
