Course Curriculum Overview

This is a professional course that needs more practical importance and hence the teaching method should be more concentrated to practical classes than theory classes. So proper lab facilities should be wisely used.

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Not much internship opportunities.During the final year there is a RAWE program that is compulsory for each student inorder to complete the course. This is the only program given by the college. And has bussiness incubation center for young innovators.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee structure is okay. But in case of campus placements college is not doing much. Only few companies are coming in a year, may be one or two. Graduates are searching jobs in there own way mostly.

Campus Life

Other extra curricular activities are conducting in a good way in our college. Arts sports library etc such departments are working efficiently and students are participating energetically. There is astudents union for conducting these arts and sports.

Hostel Facilities

In Hostel, each room contains 4 cots and inbuilt shelves. Common bathrooms for each floor. Mess is running by students, college has no authority in it. Mess fees is afforable. Rent fee is sem wise and it should be paid to administration of college

Hostel Fee: INR 35000 per year

Admission

This course eligibility is by scoring good mark in NTA entrance exam(NEET or CUET). About the application fee and form are available on NTA site. Exam duration is three hrs and 12 th science syllabus has to be covered.

Faculty

Interaction between faculty and students are less and there is no good bond between them. Some department has not enough faculties for teaching various subjects and completing the syllabus within time is difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements cell is not active since we have passed out. And that is a fault from my college authorities. Bt some students got placed in different companies with good payment. They got an average of 6 Lakhs per annum.

Why should you join kufos.

Course Curriculum Overview:

By this course we get a great opportunity in the future since fisheries is a developing sector. Since the main course in this college is fisheries the teaching methods and the teaching faculties are great. All the faculties are well experienced in their field of teaching an most of them are great researchers. This helps the students to gain more knowledge in that field. The exams are conducted semester wise with 8 semester and each sem is 6 months long. We have mid term exams also in each semester. The exam are not easy. They are medium to hard. The question papers are prepared by researchers. A lot of out of syllubus questions are included which makes the exam hard.

I applied for the ICAR AIEEA UG exam and sat for the written test. After qualifying the ICAR AIEEA I applied to the university. I was looking to pursue a bachelor's level program in the domain of fisheries and since this university was a specialised one in the respective field I opted for it. After grant of admission I was called for document verification and procedural formalities to complete the admission.

Actually, I selected this university (not college if mentioned) as I had done the entrance exam in the previous year but was not selected, so I again tried this time and got allotted. I have known about this college from my relatives. So many alumni have been placed in different sectors. I got admission to S.H. College but rather chose this university. Also, I have given entrance for CUSAT and JNU Delhi, in which the course I have selected is not what I was given during the selection procedure, which I disliked. So I rejected it, and moreover, there were fewer ranks in the entrance.
