- The only pain point for me is that we have to study 8 to 9 subjects every semester. Like subjects could be less and more focus on developing skills.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is fine but subjects per semester are 8-9 which often becomes hectic to cover all. Every semester there are two exams conducted namely Midterm exams and the End term exams. The difficulty level usually lies in the moderate range.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides internship opportunities to students through various drives. Most companies provide stipends but still, few companies hire interns without stipends but provide other facilities like accommodation, traveling, and lodging expenses.
Placement Experience
The campus does provide placement opportunities for the students. For MBA students from the 3rd sem become eligible for sitting in placements. Companies for finance, marketing, and HR specialization frequently conduct placement drives on the campus. However, for Business Analytics the frequency is less compared to others.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since the bhimtal campus is especially for students from the foothills of the Kumaon region with the aim of providing standard education to the people. Gehu Bhimtal offers various scholarships like 25% off in fees for Uttarakhand domicile, academic scholarships to the students who have excelled in their studies, fee discounts to wards coming from armed forces backgrounds, and many more.
Campus Life
The campus is very beautiful, full of lush greenery and soothing weather conditions. The college has a Library where students can find books for academics as well as various journals. The classrooms are equipped with projector facilities and whiteboards. Campus also provides to participate in various sports events like basketball, football, cricket, volleyball, and many more. There are various clubs for students to join in.
Admission
Firstly students have to register at their official website which will cost around 1500. After that, they have to sit for an entrance exam if they haven't been given an entrance test conducted by the Central authority for admission into various disciplines. After passing the exam, students have to provide a short video about themselves(for MBA, not sure about other disciplines), which is analyzed by the university. Finally, admission is granted to the applicant.
Faculty
Faculties are qualified and very helpful in nature. They are always there to help students. The interaction with teachers is not difficult. Students can meet them after class or during breaks to clarify doubts and problems.
