Course Curriculum Overview

My field of study is computer science all the teaching staff is great they help every student with their difficulties. Apart from that the course is well defined and well planned and the educators are allocated according to it.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 66524 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure varies according to the reservation (category) definitely for SC/ST, the total fee is 0 for VJ/NT fee is approx. 13k to 15k. For OBC around 65k, and the total fee for any course is 130k.

Campus Life

My experience was great but still some of the areas need to be developed like building clubs to improve the student's practical knowledge. The college annually arranges the champion's trophy which is the biggest sports event it is an interdepartmental competition.

Admission

The admission process is smooth you need to secure good marks in the engineering entrance exam which is MHT-CET and JEE maximum admission is done through the MHT-CET score there are a total of 7 to 8 seats for management quota. The total seats vary as per field for Computer and IT there are a total of 180 vacancies and for civil and mech there are 120 and 180 seats respectively.The areas I would like to improve is first yr the admission process and the unusual money taken during the admission.

The faculty members are well educated with strong knowledge in their particular field of study. The approach to teaching is as per new techniques like using projectors or screens for better understanding.

Placement Experience:

When the students come in the Seventh Semester they are elligible for campus placements. There are many companies that come for the campus placement for example KPMG, FIVER, TCS, MICROSOFT, INFOSYS, Tech Mahindra. They all offer a package of average 870000 inr. The highest package that was offered was by microsoft for 2400000 lpa. There is a 95% of students who got placed rn and there are still companies who are coming and taking students. So the probability of students getting placed is 97%. My plans after getting degree and a job is to live happily and enjoy my life.

Placement Experience:

The Training Placement Office Logins are given to us in the third year of the college where alot of companies gives opportunities to apply for the said job role or internship. Approximately 5 to 10 companies visits are there every month which increases as you enter your final year of college.

My experience at VIT pune

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placement is after 2 year or at 5th semester. And companies that have visited are Morgan Stanley, TCS, JP Morgan, etc. and many others. Basic package is about 7 lacs per annum which I consider as okay for freshers. And the student which got highest is 26 lac per annum as he was one of the brightest student of the college. I think 50 to 60 percent students get placed more or less maximum are low package students. My plans are different than doing job so not applied at any of the job.
