Likes

The location and the environment where the college campus is situated is quite good the location is perfect for a student point of view
Its a scenic Place where the college is situated the almighty Hirakud dam which controls the flow of mahanadi is on the back of the campus exactly 4kms distance is there
The faculty and the course fees are quite good for a middle class student

Dislikes

Boys Hostel food need some Upgradation and the Semester Duration are too less for a exam scenario
The campus is not totally Closed campus it's need to be closed campus

As per the indian government's Engineering Curriculum it's same for our university also the syllabus is not so easy not so hard as per eee syllabus it's quite manageable not very tough although . You have to work hard for clearing the semester exams

Placement according to the number of students is very good previous year placement record is 95% from EEE my branch it's 98% so placement is good almost 80-90 companies visited this year average package is around 4.5 to 6 lakhs and highest is around 16 lakhs i will try to get a job after completing my degree

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee is a important factor in the university as comapairing to rhe private colleges their annual fees is same as our total graduation (4years) fees For even semesters the fee is around 10000 and for odd sem it's around 17000

Campus Life

There is a technical festival and also a cultural festival is in our college known as Samavesh and Vassaunt respectively there are ao many clubs Robotics, Innovation, Coding, photography,Dance, Singing

Hostel Facilities

You can afford the hostel it's in a under budget line and the environment cleaning of hostel is good after all it's a boy's hostel....and there is a central garden in between the 4 hostels Kratu,marichi, vasistha,Atri

Hostel Fee: INR 34000 per year

Admission

You have to clear the 12 th board exam with Science stream holding Physics, chemistry, mathematics and to appear the Jee mains or Ojee entrance examination for to get admission in this govt engineering college

Faculty to student ratio is approx 1:9 , which is quite good, and all the faculties are highly educated from IITS and Nits with a great knowledge ...They are very helpful during the semesters and they treat the students very kindly

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the third year itself. In this placement season more than 90 percent of the eligible students got placed in several companies. The highest and average are yet not known. Several companies visited the campus with prominent ones being Microsoft, Dell, Xerox, Flipkart and more including several startups. After getting a degree if I am able to land a job the ok otherwise I will start my preparation for the defence sector or civil services.

So talking about placements then the placement trainings get started from your 5th sem onwards and you will be trained upon diff params and from 7th sem onwards campus drives gets started and around 30 companies visits each year and all the mncs comes for campus drives starting from pwc , Deloitte , accenture to tcs , infosys and ibm . So you will get ample opportunities if you have 60% score in your career

Placements are definitely there for coaching centres in my branch. Many big and reputed coaching institutions like akash, byjus etc came for recruitment. More R & D comapnis can be included. the nterview process and the packages were decent for the role offered.

University of technology, VSSUT Burla because it is one of the top government engineering colleges in Odisha with a strong academic reputation and affordable fee structure. I also applied to other colleges like silicon Institute of technology technology, but I preferred SSUT for its better placement record, experience, faculty and alumni network. The environment here is more research and project oriented which helps in overall technical growth, admission process is through OJE counselling based on JEE Mains cut-off varies every year, depending on the category branch with (CSE) electrical. Being the most competitive the entire process is transparent and conducted online didn't face any issue during admission as the document verification. All about The Number One State Government College Of Odisha The VSSUT,Burla

Actually i applied this vssut,burla as my first priority because this is the top and number one engineering state government college in odisha as compared to another collage i applied for and also this college is famous for mechanical engineering as i also applied .So i wanted to get admission to this college and finally the admission also confirmed and i am very happy. No i can not get rejection from other collage as this is the no one state government college where i here. Another college i applied are poor in placement and those are not good in their campous curriculum as i heard so my college is best. The admission process of our college is at first we took perticipated in the ojee counselling process where we gave 5000/- then after the selection happened to this collage this college noticed intimation letter to very one and noticed us to pay the admission fee online. Then after we paid the money they notied us for offline document veryfication and we came to collage for document veryfication .After the document verification days after some day like after one week we came to collage with our bedding and they allotted us hostel....Read More
