Remarks

No bad remarks about the college because of college id one of the best I have ever seen. College management is also very professional people in the engineering field.

Entrance Preview

Good college with good environment. Very big campus, modified labs. Advanced computers with advanced technology. The hostel is big n clean. Teachers are best. Near to Kolhapur city. 35 acres campus. Good structures, festivals, events, sports are also big here.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

College has total 8 branches i. E. Computer science, environment, civil, electronic, electrical, mechanical, biotech and first year. Syllabus for university exam is very good for a lifetime in our industry experience and education. Books are also available for the courses.

Internships Opportunities

Yess of course, our college provide internships. Our college has tied up with tata power like Companies, etc. The stipend will depend on the company, some company gives Stipend while other give accommodations and food free.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement for college is excellent. Last year Computer department placement is nearly 85 percent. While mechanical, electronics, civil also got many companies for the placements. Average package the company offers to our students is 3.2 lakh per anum.

College Events

5

The college has its own "Meraki" event which is in the month of January of every year. While there is also a pioneer national level event in the college which is for the technology related event. Other events like gaganvedhi, arts sprout, wizard, robotics photography is also there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible to a middle-class family. This college has less average fees in the Shivaji University. Hostel rent and mess facilities are also very cheap in a financial matter. The exam fee is also less than the other universities. So fee structure is very feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yess college offers a TFWS scheme which is also known as the tuition fee waiver scheme which makes the almost free education to the student. There are many others also facilities are there like EBC scheme, scholarships for castes. Etc.

Campus Life

4

College arranges many events for the debate or any other technical related fields like robotics, coding, civil. College arranges annual sports day in the month of January which has games like football, cricket, Carrom, basketball, tug of war, table tennis, etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel rent and mess facilities are also very cheap in the financial matter. I will rate the hostel facilities and mess food 4 out of 5 because the food of mess is also good made up of with hygienic oil. The hostel is also clean and fresh in nature. Hostels of three floors with a total capacity of 320 students.

Alumni/Alumna

College alumni network is very strong. Many of the students of the college have their own startups, businesses, some are in IT multinational companies across the globe. All the alumni of the college are very helpful in nature.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is similar to other engineering colleges and universities. There are two semesters in one year each one is after 6 months. In one semester two unit tests are there. While internals and externals and practical examinations are also there.

Admission

JEE Score with 12th standard marks I got 66 percentage in 12th while my jee score is 51. So the total aggregate for the engineering admission becomes 60 percentage. According to that, I fill my options list for college. While in the 2nd round of merit list I got the KIT.

Faculty

5

Teachers are all well certified with approximate average 4 to 5 years experience. All teachers are good in knowledge and problem-solving. All faculty n staff are good at teaching and very supportive in nature who solves all the problems of students related to education and personal.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
