Remarks
My University is one of the best in the state with the facilities it provide to the faculty. One could learn and get knowledge if interested in the curriculum. It is fun with the added features of extra-curricular activities that are conducted in and out
Course Curriculum Overview
I would say that the course structure is very good. Because the course curriculum touches all the necessary courses that should be known by the student to pursue his/her career in a right way. I have seen many students struggling to complete pre-requisites given by the universities abroad for their masters. But, no such extra pre-requisites are needed to learn by our university students after their graduation as all the important and necessary courses are already taught in our B.Tech.
Internships Opportunities
Our college provides internship during their summer break after the third year of college. Many companies based in chennai, bangalore, hyderabad and visakhapatnam visited the university for offering internships. The general stipend given to the student varies between Rs 5000-8000. There is a mandatory training that needs to be fulfilled by the student for a whole semester called 'practice school'.
Placement Experience
There are many placements and Job opportunities that are available in the university. Our university has the record of 100% placements for the past consecutive seven years. The companies that visited the university are Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Accenture, Visa, Polaris, CTS etc. The package offered by the companies ranges between 3,00,000-12,00,000 per annum
College Events
There are 2 festivals that are conducted each year. A technical fest called samyak is conducted in the months of october-november and a cultural fest called surabhi is conducted during the months of february-march. The festivals are conducted with high budgets and students from different parts of the country attend the fests.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees for the university is relatively high. But considering the other facilities such as credibility, faculty, ranking and placements, it is a reasonable fees for a private university. The fees changes every year but ranges between 1.25 lakhs-1.50 lakhs per annum. No additional tuition fees is asked.
Fees and Financial Aid
Not many scholarships are provided. But every year few extra ordinary talents get recognised and are given scholarships. Many banks provide loans for vthe students during their induction. The college doesnot provide any loan facilities.
Campus Life
The campus is very pleasant with lots of green. The gender ratio is almost 50:50. Frequent parties and event related to many cultural groups happen frequently. Students from different parts of the world study here. No discrimination in race/ethnicity is shown. Many national and international workshops are conducted in the campus. The campus has an awesome lab facilities. They are one of the best in the state. Sports and technical competitions are held frequently in the campus too.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is a huge building with A/C and non-A/C rooms. A new hostel for girls is recently build with a budget of 30 crores. The rooms consist of both sharing and non-sharing facilities. 24X7 wifi facility is provided. The hostel consists of a gym too.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni have a separate organization and frequent meetups happen among them. They sometimes give orientation to the students regarding many aspects from yoga to initiation of start-up companies. They also help in the festivals conducted every year.
Exam Structure
The exams are not frequent but are conducted regularly with good time gap. The examination is based mainly on the understanding of concepts and tests the knowledge of the student. The exams are conducted with questions from the concepts but not from the g
