MCA from Uttaranchal University, Dehradun.

After completing my graduation in zoology, I gave a gap to understand what I really want to pursue and within a span of a year, I realised that I have a keen interest in computing science which led me to take admission in MCA for my masters. Hence, to study the same I took admission in Uttaranchal university, Dehradun after considering all the positive reviews about the respective institution. The respective course makes the candidate to face real time situations in the world of computer science. Programmers, aspiring developers and computer enthusiasts should definitely consider for this course.

There is a compulsion on internship in the last semester. Students are required to undergo a compulsory internship of 4 months which the college can provide or the student can apply on his or her own. Internship focuses on giving the student a practical of the situations that he or she is going to face in the future and also makes him or her ready for the future challenges.

After the completion of the third semester, students are eligible to appear for the campus placements in which various companies like WIPRO, Delloitte, pyramid consultancies, Cvent, Zscaler etc. take part and offer a good package to the students and give them a good kick start to their career. The highest package offered to two candidates of 2022-24 batch was 19.5LPA in Zscaler as Developers. The average package offered is 4.8LPA.

The fee structure of the university is moderate and also provides scholarship after considering the previous grades. The standard fee structure of MCA from Uttaranchal university is INR124000 per year. The campus provides amazing placements in top companies of India and also MNC's giving the careers of the students a great start.

There are various functions,fests conducted from time to time like kala sanskriti, international conference, computer evolution etc. for the upbringing of the students along with their academics. There is a big main library in the campus consisting of books of all the departments and all the departments have their own libraries and seminar halls also. Students can always avail knowledge from their or any other field also from the library. There is a strong on sports. Students take part in various inter college, inter departments sports events and perform marvellously.

The eligibility of the course is any candidate who has successfully completed his/her graduation from any field with atleast 50% aggregate can apply and take admission. The application forms are available on the official website of the university and students can also walk in and take admission. Exam are conducted semester wise every 6 months and there are also internal exam in between the semesters. The only suggestion I have for the university is to start conducting a scholarship entrance test for the students who wish to study in the institution but do not have enough funds.

The teachers are really cooperative and are always ready to help. They adopt various attractive approaches of teaching to ensure proper understanding and clarity of each concept. They also focus on interacting with the students to maintain a healthy relationship and to improve the level of communication.
