the curriculum is based on MU good approach with learning. teaching method can be more digitalized but its overall good exams are conducted every six months, ekd semesters, exams are learning based and skill based

tuition fees include social development welfare, library expenses there are good scholarships from maharashtra gov u can opt for it, i got a scholarship so it was very useful for me. thry provide internship in 4th year

epoch is the college fest happens every year in aug..along with other annual events library has all sort of books u need to refer, u can lend them also. classrooms have projector and ac sports events are conducted once or twice a year there are social clubs u can participate in

Admission

eligibility- 10+2 with 50 aggregate in PCM ADMISSION can be done directly or merit based on ur nata and boards marks. check mumbai university for more updates they have reservations for minorities exams are conducted every 6 months difficultly level is moderate

Faculty

the faculty and student ratio is 2:110 , the faculty here makes sure everyone understands the concept. they often come up with creative learning ideas, have workshops etc and besides we interact with faculties daily and they help us with our doubts

The reason i choose architecture because it fascinates me how a place can be developed into holistic place interests me . The curriculum has some good inputs but it doesn't make you industry ready extra efforts should be taken to learn advance softwares extra classes newer research etc discussion on advance technology becomes important in modern age how architecture is changing is not discussed

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation.There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.

TSAP LIFE

As per my NATA and JEE scores, I was eligible to proceed with architecture. The minimum requirement of the score is 50% aggregate in boards(PCM) and passing marks in NATA. There are two ways we can get admission in TSAP that is through the CAP Rounds or through the offline forms. For the application form, we need to apply on the main DTE website with the valid scores and the application dates will be available on the website only.
