The fee structure for Government Medical college is 25000 per year and affordable to most families. Additionally scholarship like MYSY, National portal scholarship are also being provided by government for different reservation class

Campus Life

Campus life is not much lively and vibrant. But every year annual function is organised at our college which is quite fun and even different festivals like navratri and Ganesh chaturthi are also organised.

Admission

Admission in government medical college is merit based after giving entrance exam NEET ug. Reservation seats are available for Sc,St,Obc and Ews students. You can apply either through all india quota or state quota .

Faculty

Faculties over here are well experienced and expert in their own field. Teacher to student ratio is also pretty good and most of the time professors and resident doctors are super accessible and always ready to help out.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Choosing the medical field was my dream since childhood. This college provides the perfect environment for studies and overall development required for students. Being the highest ranked medical College in Gujarat and constantly bagging a good ranking in all Indian medical College rankings there are no loopholes in the academic part provided by the college. There are well-experienced and passionate professors and the tutor to students ratio is more than sufficient. Since I joined the college there hasn't been a lecture that went vacant. While talking of academic curriculum our college strictly follows the curriculum provided by NMC. The professors are very much qualified in their field having done their post-graduation and higher studies from the b.j Medical College Ahmedabad itself or various top-notch colleges across India. The testing and marking scheme of the exams are competitive with top colleges. The tests are never delayed and the schedule is tightly monitored.

I want this course because it is very much in demand as well as it is the best professional course all over. Facilities are also too good, to be honest. There are a total of 4 exams per year . 2 internal, prelims, and university exams. You have to pass all these exams.

Is gmc bhavnagar a good choice over other colleges in Gujarat

I applied to all the government colleges of gujarat and this was the college i got into i also applied for some semi government colleges like gmers sola and gmers gotri I got admission in gmers sola and i didn't go there because of some reasons like it is a semi government institute with a annual fees structure of 3.75 lakhs and a management quota also exists there after giving neet you aim for a government college and you need not to pay such hefty fees for your comfort and facilities even if you're getting a gmc in a village it's good enough than anything as the government is paying so much on you as a reward of clearing neet ug examination I didn't get admission in all other government colleges rather than gmc bhavnagar because of the neet scam this year ans such sky high cutoffs but I'm satisfied enough that i atleast got a gmc i didn't even apply in all india quota as i didn't wanna go out of Gujarat so in Gujarat we only have 6 government colleges and other are semi gov clgs...Read More
