Course Curriculum Overview
The courses are very well designed and will change according to the changing industry dynamics. It is kodeled upon real world needs and are driven by case studies and student presentations. Guest lectures and seminars are also conducted regularly.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides 100% internship placements with the help of student run internship committee. The students can also opt to find thier own internship and some companies that provided internship for our batch students are Morgan stanley , reliance etc.
Placement Experience
The placement is very good in this college. 100% placement happened for the last year batch and good companies come for the placement. Highest was above 15 lakh and average is about 9 lakh. All students who are eligible will be placed by the college itself.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees when i joined was about 11.5 lakhs, the fees will not be increased after we join. Many loan schemes are available and scholarships are also provided to students who are eligible sbi scholar loan is one such scholarship.
Campus Life
The college has many student clubs like sports club, samprati club, photography club, and others, these clubs run events for the college as well as others. Last year the college conducted naaisence, which is the flagship event for the college.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are excellent. Everyone gets a single room and shared bathrooms. The rooms are furnished and comfortable with bed and all. The meals are average and can be eaten to survive. The hostel fees are included in college fees.
Admission
Eligibility is above 50% in degree and a valid entrance exam score, the applications are available on SDMIMD website and exams are not that tough, exams are conducted midterm and endterm also quizzes and class participation is valued.
Faculty
The faculty here is excellent, all of them are really helpful and help us in completing our tasks, they also assist us if we have any doubt. Classes generally have about 70 students so it is not crowded.
Interview Experience
There was no gd for the admission process, i was shortlisted by my application and an online interview was conducted for me. The interview was fairly easy as they asked general questions and fundamentals.
