LEARNING ENJOYING MEMORABLE COLLEGE DAYS

The only bad remarks which i observed was college canteed. The space provided for college canteen was too short. We have to wait for long period of time to buy anything. And stationary was also short in size. The management should take care of all this.

I passed 12th Science in 2004 and i got 60% marks. I got admission through ACPC admission councelling and it was based on merit list. I want to choose mechanical stream so on basis of merit list i got admission in Sankalchand Patel College of Engineering. And I was very happy to get admission in mechanical strean because i decided it to take admission in this stream only.

B.E (Mechanical) is 4 years course consist of 8 semester. Each sem contains 5-6 subject. There was midsem exam in between semester and this marks are counted in university results.

In our college last sem we have "PROJECTS". In projects we have to make model so for that we have to visit company/ industry to learn. So we are giving 1 month to attened Internship in industry.

There were total 3 placement held in our branch when we were in final year. They were "ESSAR Steel", "SATYAM Computer" and "MANUFACTURING PVT.LTD.". ESSAR Steel appoints 6 candidates and they offer 3 lacs package per annum. SATYAM Computer appoints 7 candidates and they offer 3.2 lacs package per annum. MANUFACTURING PVT. LTD. appoints 2 candidates and they offer 15 thousand per month.

In odd sem our college were organizing Technical events in our campus. we were doing compaining to call students from other college and competition were held and those who win get prizes.In even sem our campus celebrates cultural events i.e. Annual Function which consist of dance, singing, drama, acting, etc. The duration of annual function was 10 am to 10 pm. In our campus we celebrates "DAYS" which consists of Rose, choclate, school, group days, etc. In our class we participate in "DULHA DULHAN" Days and we got prizes.

The fees structure was 30000/- per year and it was feasible. The fees can be paid in two slot i.e odd and even sem. In odd sem we can pay 15000 and in even sem we can pay 15000.

Those who have money problems our campus were providing facility to pay after you join jobs. But the terms and condition was there. The management first get inquiry about that student whether he/she is elligible or not.

In extracurricular activities, sports days are organizing which consist of cricket, football, volleyball, kabbaddi, kho-kho. athletic, etc. The competition was between different stream. In odd semester robotics competition was held for college level competition.

The hostel facilities provided by our campus was good. There were facility of individual room and combined room whichever you want to select. The food in mess was Average. Sometimes it was better and sometimes not. But we adjust it.

When cultural events i.e. annual function was held, alumni students were invited and we all are going. It was one type of Get together for us. The seniors were very helping in nature. They give good guideline about upcoming semester and they provides us notes. Ragging was strictly prohibited in our campus.

There was main Exam in each and every semester which consists of 100 marks 3 hours paper. In between sem, midsem exams are taken of 30 marks which include in results. At the end of semester, Viva/Submission are carried out. We get 1 month reading vacation

Faculty are well Educated, good natured and always ready to solve doubt especially in Mechanical Stream. I learned a lot from such faculties. I gained so much knowledge and it helps me in getting job. They clear all basic fundamentals. They give good guid
