Course Curriculum Overview

3

Agriculture is a course which aims in helping the farmers. in this course we have the chance to get the practical experiences. But sometimes the professors in a hurry to complete the syllabus they don't care about the students that we are getting the concept or not they just continue the topic and try to complete the syllabus as soon as possible

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

For every semester the semester fee is 27,400/-. For the hostel accommodation we have to pay along with semester fee and for mess fee we monthly pay the fee around 3000/-.We usually have scholarship for the hostel fee. But till now we didn't get 1 rupee from scholarship.

Campus Life

3

About the infrastructure, as it is a very old college which is running from past 75 years. The infrastructure is improving. In case of the clubs, they said that there will be clubs every Saturday evening. But there is conducting of the clubs.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel facility is really not good.As it is a very old college and the hostels as well. The ventilation for the rooms are not good. The rooms are single member rooms but we have to stay 2 members in every room. The meals in the hostels are really not good. We often get cockroaches in the food.

Admission

To get seat in the Professor Jayashankar Telangana state Agricultural University we have to write the state entrance test which is EAMCET. I got the rank of 2900 in the EAMCET during my admission. The competition heavy to get the seat in the main campus of PJTSAU.The admission process is offline. We can know the remained seats of particular reservation during the admission process on the monitor

Faculty

4

In some subjects the faculty -to-students ratio is 1:60 and in some subjects the faculty -to-students ratio is 1:120. Even though there are lot of students our professors are approachable in any aspects. Interaction with the students is good . At any time they are approachable to us.

Remarks:

I do not observe any negative remarks in our College. The only problem in this College I face is that there prolonged class hours. A student actually becomes very tired by the end of last hour. Another minor problem I faced in this College is unexpected power cuts.
