Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate the course curriculum 6/10 in terms of relevance and compreheness. The curriculum prepare me decently for real world application. The course curriculum can be improve by adapting more practical driven teaching methods.

Internships Opportunities

There are no internship provided by the college. However college might provide 1-2 training in final year. There are no projects as such to clarify the tasks

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee increase by 1000 rupees from second year onwards,For final year it canybe specify. The complete cost of my education (college fees only) is 90000 for one year. There are no scholarship for financial aid available for students.

Campus Life

The name of the annual and technical festival is swaranjali. The range and accessibility of books and journals availablity in the library is good. There are no facility and technical provisions with in the classroom.

Admission

There was no cutt- off for any intrance exams. To be eligible for this course you just have to pass 12th standard from maths stream. There were no application form and application dates available online on the college website.

Faculty

The effectiveness and qualification of the faculty members are decent but not up to the mark, It could be better.The faculty to the students ratio is decent and it impacts my learning experience in the positive way.

SGSITS: JUST A BIG BRAND

Placement Experience:

At the end of 2nd year, companies like goldman sachs comes to take interns. For placements students become eligible from 6th or 7th semester. In recent years goldman sachs is the biggest recruiter, oracle and Deloitte have also recruited, other firms like tcs and infosys also come. Giants like Amazon and google have stopped visiting since few years. Last year highest package was 72 lpa to an ece student. Average lies around 8 lpa. In tech branch 70-80% students are placed. In lower branches 50-60% students are placed. My plan is also to get placed at a decent package after completion of course.

The college have good placements as far as I got to know. The highest package was 8500000 lpa last year and average package was 1900000 lpa. My plan after the degree is to get god job in ECE cire company.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to get placed and many companies visits every year for placement and approx 60-70% students gets placement every year.As per my knowledge there is no company which has made no offer.Average package is about 6-7 lakhs per annum.My plan is to take good package from on campus placement drive.If I am unable to get this then I will try for off campus placement and I also want to do MTECH after graduating.

Placement Experience:

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.
