Likes

what i like about my institute is that you will have choices to do what you really want to do because the college system is very flexible.
especially for the CS and Architecture the college is better compare to many big institutes in Indore.
College has open and free environment, due to vast amount of colleges we get to see many programs and activities which makes it stand out from other colleges.

Dislikes

as it has many colleges in single space we get to see lots of fights as well and lots of students roaming around.
as a CS student i have not seen the use of use of projectors and screens (once or twice a semester).
the condition of computer lab is atrocious (those C.P.Us might be older than me)

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum needs a huge improvement it starts slow and nicely but is rushed at last as its not possible to complete course at that rate. Teaching methods are fine. i still don't understand how the semesters work sometimes its short and then its regular.

Class Size: 49Course Fees: INR 114000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee Structure is good. you have to submit fee every semester and there is late fee fine of 15 rupees per day. total fee for CS is 114000 rupees per year and you have to submit half of it before the particular semester starts.

Campus Life

The Life in the Campus is very good and Students as well as teachers are very interactive with one another. all the festivals are celebrated for couple of days. the library is the best thing about this institute silent, clean and quiet.

Admission

Admission process was not that long as i expected it was short and simple there is an admission cell in each block which gives everything you wants to know and helps you with any queries. i did not take any entrance test as i got admission with the help of my JEE MAINS marks.

Faculty

the faculty members are helpful with all the students. the faculty is decently qualified and take the classes very nicely. some the faculties teaches more than one or two subjects which is bit surprising but the time table is not followed by anyone.

SGSITS: JUST A BIG BRAND

Placement Experience:

At the end of 2nd year, companies like goldman sachs comes to take interns. For placements students become eligible from 6th or 7th semester. In recent years goldman sachs is the biggest recruiter, oracle and Deloitte have also recruited, other firms like tcs and infosys also come. Giants like Amazon and google have stopped visiting since few years. Last year highest package was 72 lpa to an ece student. Average lies around 8 lpa. In tech branch 70-80% students are placed. In lower branches 50-60% students are placed. My plan is also to get placed at a decent package after completion of course.

The college have good placements as far as I got to know. The highest package was 8500000 lpa last year and average package was 1900000 lpa. My plan after the degree is to get god job in ECE cire company.

LIFE IN MITS-DU

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to get placed and many companies visits every year for placement and approx 60-70% students gets placement every year.As per my knowledge there is no company which has made no offer.Average package is about 6-7 lakhs per annum.My plan is to take good package from on campus placement drive.If I am unable to get this then I will try for off campus placement and I also want to do MTECH after graduating.

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.
