This curriculum of data science provides with the theoretical knowledge of mathematics and stastiscs, technical knowledge of data visualization, data wrangling and machine learning and the practical experiences that help you to pursue a career from it or go on for further studies. As for improvement, I really feel like the focus on the core subjects should be increased. Since the college is affiliated to RGPV , the final examinations are held according to it's timetable. But the mid semester examinations are held properly on time .

Tuition fee for this course is around 105000 per year, which is quite affordable when comes to engineering from good colleges. The hikes in this fee is not much since the data science is a new course, introduced just a few sessions back . Being a localite, the only compulsory charge I am supposed to pay is the bus fee , which is around 15750 per year. The scholarships available for students are based on jee percentile, for the EWS category. Other than that the scholarships are provided by the scholarship department in the college based on the category to the ST/SC and OBC based on their jee percentile. The campus provides with some paid internships based on your skills before the campus placements, but that is mostly at the last of third year or last year.

The fest is generally held annually in every march-april , with one concert night atleast and other cultural activities. The library provides all the curriculum books for all the semester students. College provides with the sports like basketball and football to all the interested students. There are a lot of student clubs, like Rahat , with provides with the social work and most notable being GDSC , which is also associated with the Google and provides with the various certification courses.

The admissions is based on the jee percentile, and due to it the cutoff changes every year . The direct admission is also possible but I don't know much about that procedure since my admission took place on the basis of my jee percentile. The admissions procedure is same as for any college jee admission cretiria. Since the admissions is based on jee , it is conducted once a year and difficulty level is above average. The only improvement I had like to suggest is to schedule more days for the admission procedure as the more number of students causes quiet a rush .

On an average , every class is provided with a mentor, who's like a class teacher like in schools. Considering the strength per section, 60-80 students are assigned one mentor. It helps in a lot of ways and saves a lot of time as going to hods for every thing is very hectic. Teachers are always available and knowledgeable. And there approach to teaching is in accordance with the syllabus and subject. Lectures for technical subjects like software engineering and python are conducted with the help of projectors while the subjects like discrete mathematics are conducted on boards. Teachers are almost always approachable when in college and are always willing to clear doubts and other interactions.
