Course Curriculum Overview
As computer science and information technology is a hot topic nowadays and have some good career opportunities is what motivated mr to choose this course. The curriculum is good but more focus is on theoretical knowledge rather than practical which could be improved. Frequency and timings of exams is decent and difficulty level is moderate (it's subjective so answers could differ)
Internships Opportunities
Internship was provided after the completion of 4th sem and it was organized within the campus itself a mentor was assigned for Java Development Internship he was pretty experienced. It was an unpaid internship infact you have to pay 4k for doing that internship as it was important for credits apparently. Minor Java Project was created by a group of max 3 people at the end of the internship
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for on-campus placements in the 7th semester. The on-campus placements are average although many students manage to get good jobs because of cooperative placement cell authorities. The highest package as per my knowledge was 7lpa and average could be somewhere between 4 to 5 lpa. More than 70% students get placed as far as I know. I am planning for masters so not much expectations from on-campus placements
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fee is high could be a little more affordable considering it excludes the additional amount you pay for study materials and assignments also bus charges are very high. The complete cost is somewhere around 1.2 to 1.4 lakhs per year which is 60k per sem. Financial aids are available for sc/st caste people no financial aids available for general students as per my knowledge. Internships are provided within the campus although the fees could be more affordable currently it's 4k for a 1.5 month internship
Campus Life
There is a anual festival organized which is called Swaranjali (for engineering branch) which is pretty good and is usually held in the month of February and it's duration is 3 days from which 2 days are of cultural rvents and 1 day is completely sports events. There are also different clubs within the campus e.g. Tech Club, Archway etc.
Admission
Fulfilling the eligibility criteria is not very difficult as it's a private institution. The application form can be found at the official website of the institution. Reservation benefits are available
Faculty
The faculty members are decently qualified some of the faculty members are very friendly and cooperative some are not. Overall the faculty is good could be better but as it's a private institute it's better than expected
