Course Curriculum Overview

Our college Poornima College of engineering is affiliated to Rajasthan technical University. So our college follows curriculum issued by Rajasthan technical University. It's curriculum is quite average

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 800000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are not quite satisfying for computer science and electrical engineering branches But for mechanical and civil placements are quite good There are many opportunities to grab placements so no need to worry about unemployment

Fees and Financial Aid

Poornima College of engineering provides scholarship to students those who performed well in JEE mains and you get 90% scholarship according to your marks in JEE Mains The fees is around 240000 per year including both hostel and academic fees

Campus life is very good Hostels have garden to enjoy beauty of nature There are many fest organised whole year Freshers party , hostel fest, college fest ,dandiya night , navaratri celebration are few examples

Hostel facility is quite satisfying The rooms are good in size There is regular Cleaning of washroom and bathroom everyday You get many facilities like water cooler canteen air ducting for summer sesson

Admission

For the admission process you have to fill REAP form and fill your credentials accordingly. The REAP form is submitted and after few days counciling starts . So you get your college and branch accordingly

Teachers are well qualified. You can go anytime in college hours if you have some doubt related to subject . Teachers are strict regarding studies In labs you have to complete record and prepare for viva accordingly

For the 6th and 7th semester students becom elegible for placement and infosis and other companies visit highest package is 9lpa and lowest is about 2.5 lpa and avg package is about 3 to 4 lpa in last year there were no placements my plan after degree is to find govt job

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester the students are eligible for placement opportunities in on campus placement. The companies like vedanta,Infosys,TCS ,ATA Steel,etc.visited my college. The highest placement in my branch in previous year is about 12.5 LPA,and the average package in my branch is 6.5 LPA .approx 70-80 percent students are placed in my branch in on campus placement.

Good college, good life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food is a vast subject and people will not stop eating, so the scope of food technology is just amazing. The college has its own faculty for different subjects. This btech course is of 4 years ie 8 semesters. Each semester has midterms and final semester exams. Last semester is for an internship. Midterms are of 20 marks, practical of 30 marks and final semester theory exams of 50 marks, so passing the exam is damn easy. Regular classes with good faculties make this course easy.

Remarks:

The college is strict about it's attendance. You need to maintain 75% attendance. And taking about the studies there is a very studios environment in the college and the labs. The Students here not just focus on academics they also do some good extra activities.
