Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I have choosen Computer science and engineering beacouse I am really interested in that stream beacouse I am from agriculture background so in that field there are so many development in hardware and machinery but not much software applicatiobs which helps farmers in agriculture so I choose this course to do something in that In college they give more importantance to syllabus and teaches only those concepts which are enclosed in the syllabus. So it doesn't help much to deal with real world projects The main area of improvement is they have to teach complete programming language with practicle excersice and projects The university exams are of medium level and also the timing is good enough to handle.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

After 6th sem I took internship in a company called Vrusharya Technologies private limited which is started by own college senior and it offers fullstack development and Android applications development I completed 3 months fullstack web development internship and did weekly projects like portfolio website and college dashboard website and as a major project I completed Music player web application using Api so that user can listen a song on their interest by searching.

Placement Experience

3

In the college after 6th semister they allow to attend placement drives and the companies like Robosoft, trains, codecrafts, unicourt, hp, tcs, Ace microtech, mirafra, Tantragyaan, kambala solutions and also sales companies visits the college for placements and the highest package is 8.5 LPA by HP company and the average package is 4.5 LPA by other companies This year the placement percentage is 70. My plan after completing the graduation is to join a good company to get a good industry experience and to fit in a position or role in it where I want to be.

Fees and Financial Aid

My complete cost of my education is 7 lakh including course fees , hostel fees , mess fees and exam fees and I got only one scholarship every year that is SSP scholarship which is 18200 per year and I got 2 placements which are on campus one is at Tantragyaan company as a software engineer for 3.1LPA package and one more is at palle technologies for full stack training and packege is announced after training.

Campus Life

4.5

The college coduct events like algorithms every year which is a talent hunt event and during the annual day college cunducts 3 to 4 days technical events for our college and also allows other college teams to take participation in the events like hackathon. Then the library provides books and journals with free of cost There is a technical club called code troopers which offers different technical positions to handle the event The college also gives importantance to sports in the name of sports day in college and also allows to participate in university level sports. Yeah students runs technical event handling groups and the project demo social media handles

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel facility is good with a shared room and also rooms have locker and hostel provides wifi facilities and the mess food is also good and hostel registration is during the admission only in a easy way but I stayed in a college near room the location is Bantakal, Udupi.

Admission

The course eligibility is by 2 ways one is the CET exam and one more is management seats after the entrance exam result I had option entry to select the college which I want and according to my cet result I got cet seat in the college then I locked the college by paying the CET fees and by submitting the documents to the college for admission I didn't get any reservation during admission and the exam level is medium If multiple option entry is given then is is better to select the college which the student is really interest otherwise if the student didn't get that college after cet exam then if that college provides entrance test then it's helpful for the students to get the college where they want to study.

Faculty

4

The faculties are good due to the syllabus completiin in the semister they only focus on university syllabus only some of the faculties go beyond the syllabus and teaches new concepts in a practical way which helps me to understand clearly Some faculties are good beacouse they guide for our projects wheather its a team project or individual and helps to participate in competitions. I interact with the faculties if I have any doubts regarding career, syllabus and other thing if I know more about that and some of them guided me and some referred other teachers to ask for more clarification.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
