The facilities are great with high end equipments if you are gojng to opt for research as a career.
The campus is huge with good cafeteria. People are good You will meet various kinds of people

The dress code and the differences between boys and girls
We didnt got any non veg foods,But the veg foods were good and student friendly i.e affordable

Course Curriculum Overview :

It offers strong emphasis on industry related and current market trends .They also show interdisciplinary aspects. But there are some theoretical courses like environmental science which is purely theoretical when in fact it can be so much of practical as it has a lot of potential.

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 50000 per year

Placement Experience :

The placemnets were pretty good from biotech companies like Dr. REddys and some other small non research companies. A lot of people got admitted, Also the staffs or your mentor will continuously share details of recruitments in whatsapp group. But the con was that it will all be in southern parts of India only

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For mSc biotechnology it was 25k per semester. The hostel fees are very less around 16k per year but monthly they will charge around 4k for food separately Also we are supposed to pay some breakage fee whixh comes around 1k or 600 for Masters student for others it varies . There are many scholarships also they do give you if you are an obedient and exceptional student.

Campus Life :

The campus life was good there weremany events .But i was not able to go as i had a lot of language barrier and also a differmet thinking which created a gap between me and my classmates . OVERALL it was a good experience

Hostel Facilities :

The hsotel was spacious . The rent is very cheap but being a non vegetarian the vegetarian food was not good for me . Also I have questioned the hygience of these hostel food . As i did got food poisoning several times. Which made me to decide to shift to outside hostels which were good

Hostel Fee : INR 16000 per year

Admission :

The admission prcess for the masters was very smooth . And if you have any doubts you can also mail them ,they qere very polite to answer my querries .Even the dean of SCBT was very helpful .I am not sure about the reservation as i was belonging to the general caste but i also think that the percentage or the cut off for other states is higher than compared to tamil nadu state

Faculty :

The quality of professors is great in Science /biotech department .They are helpful and understanding. They will also guide you accordingly. Of course somw professors are not good when they have given the subject out of their expertise but at the same time there are several professprs who teach superb amd instill the research in students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is quite good here compared to the other universities. The curriculum the very good order of the topics. The semester exams are conducted twice in a year. It will be 3 hours. The difficulty of the exams will be moderate. You can score good marks if you have the good knowledge of the subject.
