Likes

patient load is very high here- it's among highest in india.so, it's very good for clinical exposure and learning.
Most of the professors here are highly qualified.they can be great help to budding doctors.
it's going to be 2nd largest hospital in Asia in terms of numbers of bed.Although heavy construction going in around college,but once finished it will be like a medical Also it's located in the heart of patna , hence every thing is accessible easily.

Dislikes

Campus is built in less area as compared to central institute like AIIMS.
Campus life is not that great.however mammoth scale construction going on in the college and hence scope for improvement.

Course Curriculum Overview

Exams are conducted on time. level of question paper is comparable to any other central institutes.Sessions begins and ends on time. Teaching methods including powerpoint presentations, chalk & board method. Teaching methods can be improved as many times there is sound problem in the lecture hall and mics are unavailable or not working most of the time.

Internships Opportunities

1 year compulsory rotatory internship program is conducted as per NMC norms. you are paid ?20000 per month .You learn a lots of Hands on experience and skills as patient load is very high. You are trained to become a competent Indian Medical Graduate.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee vary each year.In first there is extra security money apart from usual examination fee, tuition fee, hostel fee & extra curricular fee. Fee for MBBS course is as follows:- Admission Fee-Rs 1000/- once tuition fees-Rs.9000/- per annum x 4.5 year hostel fee-Rs.12000/- per annum electricity charge-Rs.1200/- per annum caution money-Rs 10000/- once Magazine Society-Rs.500/- per annum college activities-Rs 2000/- once Student Welfare Fund-Rs 5000/- once Student Union Fund-Rs100/- once

Campus Life

Annual Function called WAVES is celebrated every year in last week of February during college foundation day. It's celebrated like a festival here. A no. of extra curricular activities takes place like food, music,dance, party .

Hostel Facilities

you r provided a 3-bed hostel room which u have to share with other two guys. Hostel is really nice.You r provided your personal chair,table,bed and almirah. Hostel rent is ?1100 per month including electricity bill. It's very cheap and affordable.Lift is also there in hostel. Daily a sweeper cleans your room.

Hostel Fee: INR 13200 per year

Admission

Admission into the course is only through NEET UG exam. Counseling for 85% state quota seat is conducted by BCECE on their online portal . Students has to report to alloted college for documents verification. State quota reservation is applicable as following:- 1.EBC -18% 2.BC-12% 3.SC/ST-15% 4.RCG-1%

Faculty

being a government medical college, faculty members are recruited by government only based on qualification criteria.hence, faculties are highly qualified, knowledgeable, approachable and always willing to help.faculty to student ratio is good.

Excellent college with full of opportunities and satisfactions

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a medical college, it always has an environment of focus and consciousness. I have chosen MBBS because I want to be a focused student in my life. I want a disciplined life, which is also a beauty of this course. MBBS develops you as a sincere - sensible and soft personality. In each department of our college, there are 3 to 4 teaching and non-teaching staff and our batch strength is of 170 students and there are totally more than 15 departments in MBBS course, so now you have an idea about the faculty Nad student ratio of our college. Faculty members are excellent in every department of our college be it the Undergraduate department or postgraduate department they are well qualified and renowned and they are great doctors too, they have wonderful art and experience of producing successful doctors. As a medical college, here 1st priority is study and assessment of students so exams are on time and obviously it has a difficult curriculum, which needs lots of hard work and dedication.

My College rank number 1 medical college in Bihar state. The faculties and facilities of this college are much better than other college in Bihar. The patient load of this college is also maximum in Bihar. For getting admission in my college first you have to appear in the exam Neet. You have to score 650 + marks out of 720 marks.
