Course Curriculum Overview

4

Hence, it was an autonomous institution so the curriculum was designed by themselves and quite different than MSBTE the good part about the curriculum was there was a six-month internship for our batch but the curriculum needed to be updated as some outdated languages and frameworks were being taught and the exams are taken at regular intervals.

Internships Opportunities

4

We got internship for 6 months which is quite good and got a decent industry exposure in 6 months learnt new technologies as well as got hands on experience in company and got to know about companies work

Placement Experience

4

In our branch students were eligible from the 5th semester for campus interviews one company visited the campus named ThoughtWorks which provided the students with a package of 8 lpa which was great and also training of around 18 months with a good stipend for non-tech branches there are much more opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

You'll get all scholarships approved by Govt of Maharashtra like Rajashri Shahu Maharaj for EBC Dr Panjabrao Deshmukh for hostellers, etc. A few companies visited the campus and gave decent packages but if you're in the tech branch so don't consider placements here if you're non-tech then definitely there are plenty of good opportunities here

Campus Life

4.5

We had our annual event once in the year named as Spandan where all students were able to participate and we're to show their potential rather than curriculum and also once in a year various Institute and district and state-level events of sports and technical events were happening

Hostel Facilities

4

The college's hostel was too affordable anyone can easily afford it only 1500 per annum was charged and the facilities were also nice like bed's, and water purifiers the message was not up to the marks as such what could you expect only 1500 per month

Admission

The eligibility for Post SSC Diploma is you should complete SSC with at least 36% Same for Post HSc, Diploma, and ITI. Proper guidance should be given to the student's post and pre-admission they talked too arrogantly with students

Faculty

3

The permanent staff here are very qualified and some of them have done PHD's but the visiting faculties are not good they lack in experience and don't make an effort on students so the only option that remains is a self-study

Placement Experience:

Placements are not so good. In order to get a good package you must have a good cgpa around 7-8. If you have a good cgpa. You can get a good job offer with a annual pay for 5-6 lakhs. I plan to do btech/be after diploma. That,ll help me get a good placement. I can do btech here only if i manage to get enough percentage in my final year. If i couldn't i plan to get admission in keystone school of engineering which is a good college for engineering degree. Mostly infotech and proazure hire the most. There are other companies too. Around 60 percent students get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Rating of course curriculum of my college (PCP) the scale :- 1-5 | 5 = Excellent. • Relevance - 3.5/5(industry aligned but need modernization). • Comprehensiveness - 3/5(Cover basics but lacks interdisciplinary depth) Key aspects influencing course :- 1). Technical foundation - core engineering discipline(mechanical, civil, computer, etc)with a focus on fundamental skill. 2). Practical training - labs, workshop and internship linked to local industries. 3). Affordability and accessibility - polytechnic program at PCP are cost- effective and provide early entry into technical careers. My college has a robust foundation for technical education but requires strategic update to stay competitive.

Placement Experience:

Placement strategies is different for every department. Like most computer engineering students wants higher education. Mechanical, civil and automobile students not that much interested in higher education. Teachers of placement department are very active in there work they gave us more information and counseling like who have to get higher education and who gave to be placed. Students fills a google form which os about students placements, according to that they know how many students are interested in placement and higher education. Companies like TATA, VPRO and other are came for campus in our college various tests and interviews are taken then salary and other things are discussed. Many students get pass in interview. The ratio is about to 30% students get placed every years from campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is the heart of a student’s college or advanced learning experience. Curriculum is a college or university’s primary means of guiding students directions. Curricula should be reviewed and revised on a regular basis, better to serve the changing needs of both students and society. We are often urged to reassess the quality of our curricula. Faculties are responding to this challenge by turning their attention to long neglected issues. They are doing so as a practical means of both attracting and retaining more students, ensuring their success, and producing high quality, fair outcomes for everyone.
