Course Curriculum Overview
The course is difficult,but curriculum provides us with two internals and models before our university exams so that we can coverup maximum portions before the university exams.Also we are posted in several departments and cases are allotted to us from third yr onwards under the guidance of faculty which prepares us for a better future clinical practice.
Internships Opportunities
Internship is done in our college with posting in several departments.we have to take op as well as do our works in the department.A decent stipend is given.so there is no need to opt any other colleges for internship as our college provides several number of patients and variety of clinical scenario to us
Fees and Financial Aid
The average fee including tution service fees and other compulsory charges approximates to around 5 lakh per annum.I have received a scholarship of 25 k per year as I am from muslim community.several other scholarship and reservation are available for respective casts
Campus Life
Our college conducts numerous cultural fests and sports in addition to academics.our college hosts a very big program called interdentz with participation from various dental colleges across Kerala.Also library provides us with vast range of academic and non academic books.Clubs like eco club.nature club etc are there .
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are good .like we can opt for double or triple sharing as per our convenience.Also we have bed rooms with attached and non attached bathrooms.About the meal,we have vegetarian and non veg options all the days .The quality of food is good.
Admission
Admission is purely based on allotment.it is based on neet exam.my score was around 500 which made me eligible for a self financing merit seat in a private dental college.Allotment is entirely computerised and admission processes are undertaken in the college.
Faculty
A wide range of faculty is available like there are more than 5 teaching faculty per department so that it's always convenient for students to approach the faculty with whom they are comfortable with.
