Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum focuses on our experience so much. There are labs and lectures as well. The syllabus focuses on all the things we need to learn as a pharmacists. The laboratory exposure adds in our experience immensely. It gives us the feel of industrial work. The exams are very frequent which is good for the preperation of the students for the end semester exam. There are two mid semester exams and one final semester exam in every semester. Every exam has theory as well as practical exam
Internships Opportunities
Internship programs are provided by the college at the end of the third year that is 6th semester. You can find an internship yourself also. There are paid as well as unpaid internships. Companies in the Suburban area of Mumbai provide you the internships. They give a stipend of around 7-10k per month.
Placement Experience
After the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements Companies like cipla,Glenmark,Aditya Birla, pfizer, are the main recruiters from the college they offer very good LPA Highest package was around 7 lakhs for last year and the average package was around 3.4 lakh Many students choose to study further but the ones choosing placements I would like to pursue higher education after the graduation
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for b pharm course is around 1,60,000 for the general category. 96000 for OBC category. 29000 for VJNT students. 10000 for St students. The college provides various types of scholarship opportunities to its students The students are provided internships as well as career guidance also. The placement committee of college is very good it brings more and better placement opportunities for the students.
Campus Life
The college has its own annual event known as SPECTRUM. This is the best time of the year for students, around February to March. Various cultural sports competitions are held throughout. This gives students a sense of competition. The library has various books which can be accessed by your ID card itself. There are various clubs in the college like NSS, ROTARACT, PHO, and DLLE. These clubs do very good work. There is also a student council which has assistants heads of various departments general secretary and a president of all students. The college has a canteen area and the food there is too good
Hostel Facilities
There is a hostel provided from the VES trust both for boys and girls. The hostel is just beside the college. The meal plan here includes 4 times per day . The menu of every week contains various food items. There is breakfast, lunch, snacks in the evening and dinner. The hostel registration needs to be done ASAP as there are limited seats
Admission
You have to go through the MHT CET exam of the Maharashtra government to take admission into the college for B pharm. The cut-off for the college falls around 94 percentile for the CAP round and around 90 through the acap round. The college is sindhi minority college. The admission process was a bit complex and needed a lot of paperwork The reservation gives you a lot of relief in the fees. The application form. Faculty
The faculty members are highly qualified for the job. They have immense experience in the field. They also have industrial experience. Some of them were abroad before coming to the college. They interact with students in a very gentle way. They make us feel comfortable with every type of problem. This helps us very much. Whenever we want to interact with them they make time for us no matter what.
