Overall it is one of the best colleges for Pharmacy. The students are motivated to become dedicated, innovative and inquisitive and also the college helps in the overall development of the students.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is completely relevant and designed to give students the breadth and depth of the course. Students get enough time to prepare for the exams. Various assignment and projects are given to the students to develop there skills like critical thinking and time management and also to make them more inquisitive towards the course.
Placement Experience
The college invites recruiters from various companies and organizations every year to provide job opportunities to the students of the Final Year. The recruiters of the past are Abbott, CIPLA, Merck, etc.
College Events
The college annual day 'SPECTRUM' is celebrated every year in the month of February. It consists of various cultural and sports events. All the students are motivated to participate in all the events. There is also various other celebration that takes place in the college like international yoga day, freshers day, convocation, teachers day celebration.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee charged is reasonable. It includes tuition and development fees. It also includes University dues like enrollment and examination fees. The college does not charge any capitation fee or donation. The fees charged are based on the prevalent norms of the Fee Regulating Authority. The fees also include e-suvidha and gymkhana fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I haven't opted for any. There are many scholarships granted by the government and various organizations like the Ratan Tata Trust for the eligible students. Also, the college provides scholarship for EBC students. Vidyasarthi is the scholarship provided for economically backward girl students.
Campus Life
There is a friendly atmosphere in college. There is no type of ragging or eve teasing in the college. There is an anti-ragging committee and a Women Development Cell. There is a sports room with modern indoor games. The lab is very spacious with modern equipment and with all the safety measures. There are many competitions taking place throughout the year and all the students are motivated to participate in the various competitions.
Alumni/Alumna
VESCOP Alumni association manages the affairs of the alumni. There is a bimonthly alumni meet which enables the interaction of the alumni and the present students. The seniors are very helpful and provide guidance to their juniors.
Admission
The admission process is very easy and simple and there are staffs to help you with the process. Admission is allowed through CAP rounds. 100% transparency in the admission process. Admission is completely merit-based. There is no management quota. The college does not charge any donation or capitation fee.
Faculty
The professors can be approached easily and at any time of the day through the mail, WhatsApp or in the faculty room. They also provide one to one guidance to the students if required. They mostly use audio-visual method to teach students to make learning more interesting. They provide notes, PPTs, and PDFs of reference books.
