What Students Say

Likes

I literally like the college atmosphere as it is very Awesome. The college is very disciplined.
There are 30+ clubs operating which gives exposer to the students from 1st year only.
PSIT has a very Beautiful-Green Campus. The mess food quality is undoubtedly very good.

Dislikes

Timing for B.Tech is 9 to 5 daily so the whole day is passed. But it has also good side as 9 to 5 daily helps you to survive in corporates when you get placed.
Attendance criteria is 90% which literally sucks but just because of this you visit college almost everyday and build network.
Apart from above two, i don't find any cons.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very good. Every teacher come and teach. You will never feel time waste in the class. College subjects strictly follow AKTU guidelines and we are taught from Infosys spring board, Questions from leetcode and HackerRank.

Internships Opportunities

After reaching 6th sem, you are eligible for the internships and can get NOC from college. in the current scenario, students of PSIT got internship opportunities form reputed MNCs like Microsoft, Amazon, Morgan Stanley etc. as well as PPO.

Placement Experience

Talking about Placements, PSIT is the leading college in North for the placements and the main objective of PSIT is Placements. Almost every student gets placed and the poeple whi do not get placements and want to clear GATE or CAT, they get special attention from college too. There are elite batches whihc is totally placement oriented,

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fees is 180300 and the hostel fees for AC is 100000 and for Non Ac it is 84000.College provides loan from SBI if you have financial issues and they also help you to get your scholarships..

Campus Life

Talking about the clubs, I'm the Vice President of Ingenious Club, the official film and photography club of PSIT. Here from 1st year only you get the opportunity to get into the clubs, make friends, build network and enjoy. There are 30+ clubs in the college. The campus is in 80+ acres and still under construction.

Hostel Facilities

Being a hosteler, i find very good facilities from hostel mess and the care takers too. When i asked my other friends who are in other institutes, they are always complaining about food menu and food quality but in PSIT, the food is very tasty and in case you are not well, they also cook for you separate as per doctors advice.

Hostel Fee: INR 96000 per year

Admission

I got fee waiver seat in CSAI as i had a good rank and was not willing to go far away from home. For direct admissions, always prefer to visit college because not only PSIT but none college who is reputed will call you for the admission or tell you details on call.

Faculty

Faculty to student is 1:60. They are very professional and expert in their field. They always motivate you to achieve big in your life. They are very supportive also. If you ask them about old topics of the subject, they would definately make you understand without asking any questions.

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Likes

Environment is good, the overall environment is calm
The hostel is good, it is hygienic and provides regular maintainence
The campus feels quiet safe and have good security with strict regulations

Dislikes

The network connectivity is not up to the mark
There are very less number of cultural events taking place in this college
Hectic study schedules which leaves no time for extra curricular activitoes

Placement Experience:

Placements of thos college is quiet good Many big companies provides internships and placements This year also quiet many students got placed TCS visited the campus for hiring Average packhage is 15 lakh per annum

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Life at SRM.

Likes

A good and friendly environment on campus where students from all around nearby cities and states stay together in harmony.
Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

I liked the faculties of my college they are very supportive and helpful towards the students.
I like the curriculum which more learning based then theory

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

There are very good and highly qualified Faculties for each subject.
There is lot of clubs and groups which give exposure to the students.
Location of College is best in Greater Noida

Dislikes

There is little busy management and take time to respond query.
Highly busy schedule of college timings.
There can be delay in examinations from its expected date.

Placement Experience:

Placement in GCET is one of the good In greater Noida colleges. The average package of this college is 4-6 L.P.A. Companies like TCS, J.P Morgan, Josh Technology, L.G etc visited every year. Mass recruiters like wipro,infosys,capegemini also visited every year. About 85% students every year placed from the college. After getting degree my plans are getting very good placemnt from this college.

Poor management regarding any issue and problem
iCloud app not working properly and full of glitches and bugs
Slow process and management takes a lot of time to do work

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

Likes

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

Unveiling Campus Life and Academic Excellence

Likes

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

the only reason i choose this college was because i availed fee wavier and our financial condition was not so good back then. for computer science and engineering you must have given jee main in which your rank should be under 500k and must have more than 75% in maths, physics,chemistry. you can also directly apply for that course; you just have to take the admission test on campus and clear the interview round.
