Review of TNAU, Pechiparai

I choose this course because I love agriculture and agriculture based jobs. If we finish the course we get more opportunities from private farms. This course have 4 semesters and 4 mid semesters and those are pretty easy.

Cost of the education is pretty low because it's a government college. We have topay almost 8000 per semester for 4 semesters and mess fees and that's it. We have to pay for books. Every field trip is completely free butwehave to pay for foods. After finishing the course we'd go for campus interview in coimbatore main campus, and could get job in private farms or we can crack tnpsc aho exam and become Assistant Horticulture Officer.

The college often held cultural festival and other festival for like Pongal, professors retirement etc. every kind of books based on Horticulture is available in the library. Classroom have great technology of taking class in big screen computer. This college has little to no sports activities, social clubs, groups or any extra curricular activities.

Hostel is pretty neat and we have good essential facilities. Our hostel have very good water resource, and more bathroom and toilet and it's pretty neat because a worker willclean them regularly. Meal is pretty good but no the best. It has mostly rice based foods and idli,dosa etc. two times chicken for a week. And monthly mess fees is 3000. Registration process for hostel can be done in the college.

Eligibility of the course is finished 10+2, with science in their stream or agriculture stream. Application form and every admission details will be available in official website of TNAU. It has total 4 semesters for 2 years.

The teaching was really good, teacher interacts with us almost everytime while teaching. We get sirs and madam who finished PhD in in their respective field in agriculture and every teacher is highly experienced. We got almost 6 to 7 permanent teachers and 6 to 7 teachers from other institute come to teach us for the total students of 120.
