Review of GJU university.

I choose this course because I want to do the technical jobs. In the university the curriculum is not much effective. The focus only on marks. Their main focus is theoretical knowledge. They did not focus on practical knowledge. Students have to it himself.

The students can sit in the placements from the seventh semester. They must have clear all backlogs if any. Last year 5-7 companies visited the campus for placement of CSE students. 40-50 students get placed from CS and IT branch. The percentage of students placed is around 20 percent.

The fee structure of the university is around 61300 per year. Scholarships are only provided to the SC/ST students. For other students there is no scholarship. Campus employment rate is very low. There are not much opportunities in the university.

Campus life is very good. There are many fests held during different timings of the year. Books are easily available in the library. Facilities in the classroom are very low and in labs the technical instruments are also not much effective. You can play most of the sports in the university like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, kabaddi, Badminton etc. There are many clubs also which improves students basic skills.

There are 4-5 persons in the room. There are only fans. If you want cooler then you have to bring it your own and pay extra charges. The meal quality is neither good nor bad. The fees for hostel is around 11990 per year. The hostel is available for only first year students. After that only top 10% percent students get the hostel.

The admission in B.Tech are taken on the basis of jee mains exam. If a student have rank around 2.3lakh then he can get the admission in IT and AIML branch of B.Tech. SC/ ST students get the admission easily in any branch they want.

Faculty of University is not really good. A single teacher teaches many subjects. Sometimes teachers are not available for particular subjects that students opt for. So students have to change their subjects. Their approach to teaching is also not very much effective.
