Course Curriculum Overview
I chose CSE with AI and ML as specialization as my course. This curriculum has various new subjects which are domain specific to Artificial Intelligence. These subjects are considered as core compared to subjects for regular CSE without specialization. These subjects are new but the syllabus they follow is still age old, and not updated with current advancements and break-throughs, it is knowledgeable but still not for industry applications. Though the faculty is not equipped with this new technologies they try to learn and teach these subjects and provide resources. Mid-exams are conducted twice a semester 8 weeks apart, and semester exams are conducted at the end. The difficulty of these exams is easy to medium for a student who attends atleast 75% of the classes and studies before exams. The course curriculum can still be developed by incorporating new tools and technologies. I can say that the overall academic curriculum can prepare you 60% for industry and placements
Internships Opportunities
Several companies offered internship opportunities some of them along with full-time conversion like Providence - 40k, Pepsi Co. - 35k, Databeat - 20k, Kanerika - 20k. The projects are company-specific and the students shadow industry professionals to gain knowledge during internship period.
Placement Experience
From 6th semester students are eligible to attend campus placements. Several companies like accenture, deloitte, TCS, verisk, providence, zemoso, cigniti, tech mahindra, visited the campus. Each company selected an average of 10 students. Highest package was offered by Providence which was 11 LPA for Analyst role. 50-60% of eligible students got placed. I want to pursue masters degree after my graduation.

Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is around 1:15 which is decent. There are mentors assigned to all students, who will guide us in need if asked. Mentors can help you to network with alumni and seniors who can solve any academic queries. All faculty members have Master's degree in respective fields and a handful of them have PhDs. You can approach with teachers any time during college in their leisure hours and clarify any doubts.
