SRM - choose wisely if it suits you or not

The courses ciriculum is actually not bad when considering standards but when compared to the modern industry standards and other training programs, we can say that the ciriculum is way below the standard

Many companies give internship in the SDE role . Some of the roles and their stipends are below in the order company-role-stipend Oracle-SDE-50000 Wells Fargo - analyst - 90000 Siemens - student trainee - 10000 Nokia - student trainee - 25000 Jp morgan - CIB research intern - 75000 Jp morgan - SDE - 50000 JOhn dere - robotics - 30000 etc

From 6th semester onwards companies start coming to give summer internships and training programs slowly. 200-300 students grabs internship opportunities in their 3rd year out of the 4000. And the full time opportunities start coming from 7th semester from the month of August.

The tution fee is a bit more than affordablity. Ofcourse the placements opportunities for both internships and full time are quite high. The only drawback is that there's a huge competition here due to larger intake. If one has the confidence that he can compete with people the fee for the university is worth it else not.

One can get a good campus life here considering he/she gets some good friends here. There are ample number of social activities, cultural clubs, cultural fests, technical clubs and so on. There are two major fests names Milan and aarush where Milan is cultural festival and aarush is tech fest.

We can get good hostel facility here. The amount is 1,20,000 per year including food 3 times a day. High speed unlimited wifi and common washrooms. The rooms of both 2 sharing and 3 sharing are available here I don't recommend 3 three sharing as they become congested.

60% in both 10th and 12th is the primary eligibility to attempt the entrance examination SRMJEE. the courses selection an eligibility is based on the rank achieved in SRMJEE. once the result is declared we can see the eligible courses in the website based on rank and can pay 100000 to select and secure a seat

The faculty to student ratio is very high but is a huge disadvantage as all the large number of faculties with lesser teaching capability and standard. No proper teaching will be given for any course or subject.
