- One of the best thing is infrastructure. Both girls and boys situated itself in the campus. Digital Classes equipped with moder facilities.
- The faculties are mixture of experienced and young.
- The campus is situated in the heart of patna which easily connect nearby railway station and airport.
Dislikes
- The University doesn't have the sports culture. The students who are interested in any sports doesn't get the opportunity and facility to lift
- The University doesn't provide placement as demanded by the students. Rarely, some students are selected for the campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview
B.A., LL.B(Hons.) is a five year course which can be opt after 12th. This course includes both graduation and LL.B which is required to become a lawyer. The curriculum of this course includes both art and law subjects. There are some changes are required in the curriculum i.e. there is no significance of world history in the law field but still it is included in the curriculum. The Chanakya National Law University conducts two exam in a semester and the students get time enough time to prepare for the exam.
Internships Opportunities
The college has internship cell where the regular updates where given to the students for the availability of intership in any firm or organisation. The students themselves manage the internship and the administration faila to provide intership opportunities for thier own students.
Placement Experience
There are some companies and law firm do visit our campus for the placement where the the calibre of students matter to be selected for the job. 5-10 percent of the whole batch is getting placed which is a very small number.
Fees and Financial Aid
Currently, the University charges approx 2.5 lakh per year for the five year integrated course which cover all the cost including mess and hostel charges. The increase in fee mainly depends upon mess charges which keep changing as required. There are numbers of scholarship provided itself by the university. But, mainly the students can avail scholarship through PM Scholarship and the students who have given their 12 examination from Bihar can avail loan from Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme.
Campus Life
The campus life includes many events. The moot court and ADR competitions of CNLU are well known and recognised in the field of legal education. The Nishyant Nilyam(liberary) is one of the best liberary covering no. of books and journals. It open from 9 am morning to till 12 a clock midnight. The campus is well equipped with wifi facilities and smart digital Classes. There is disappointed on the side of sport facilities. The university lacks in it and even fails to promote sporty culture in the university.
Hostel Facilities
There are both double and single occupancy hostel rooms are available with 24 hrs power supply and RO water. The students can avail there own AC in the room by giving 20 thousand extra charges for 1 year to the university. The quality of meal is below standard. The hostel room will be given at the time of addmission and it's quite affordable as compared in the city of Patna where the students only have to pay 16000 for 1 year.
Admission
Any students after the completion of 12th have to give CLAT(Common Law Admission Test) which is conducted all over India for the admission in different National Law Universities. The application form , fees and dates is available on the Clat Consortium websites. The exam mainly held in the month of December each year and because of this, the student get less time to prepare for the exam. The Chanakya National Law University also provides reservation to the Sc, St, and EBC of Bihar. It also cover Ews and women reservations.
Faculty
There are two sections consisting of BA and BBA. It includes 60 students each. The faculties are very credible and their approach to teaching and mentorship is well appreciated. Any students can approach to any faculty till they are in the campus for any doubt. They are always ready to help their students in any way. If a faculty delivered a lecture and after the lecture, any students can approach him/her to clear his doubts after the class hours.
