Course Curriculum Overview

According to me course give me an insight of the engineering as being an engineer I mainly focused on studing 3 to 4 days before the exam they can easily top the college it can give any affect to your placement

Fees for the non Karnataka students who give comedk in my batch there fees was 178748 for college and 110000 for the hostel if you are from management 200000 pa and hostelsame If you are from CET Karnataka student then you have to pay 100000

Campus Life

Overall I was not that much to clubs and all I was a decent student who lives in hostel comes to college and goes back to the hostel clubs are there GDSC is there many cultural clubs are there you can be a part of it

Admission

The cutoff for this college in comedk was i guess 25000 my rank was I guess 25000 approx I got this college in the branch of aiml which was introduced as the first batch of the college and it was very helpful

Faculty

Faculty was nice they are helpful for everything they are like mentor's for the student they provide the nootes and give a proper guidance for the students for future that are helpful for the students

A Brief Review of My College (New Horizon College of Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Experience at new horizon.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement. Alots of companies like VISA,IBM,Accenture etc2 visited our college. The highest package recorded as of 2023 was from VISA offering 32.2 lakhs. 90 percent of the students get placed. After I get my degree I will work for awhile in the corporate world and starting up my own business on the side.

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.
