Likes
- It is one of the best medical colleges in india. All labs are well equipped. Classrooms and opd's are fully conditioned. There is also volleyball court and table tennis room.
- Fees is too low , only 1250/ per year. You will get good amount of stipend during internship which is the second highest in india. There are 100 beds in hospital.
- 1000s of patients come here for treatment , this will help you to gain more medical knowledge and make you feel more confidence in practical basis.
Dislikes
- There is no playground, only two-three sports can be played here
- All Professors are post graduate but there are only few professors they can't give you proper time and take classes regularly
- There is no hostel management for all india qouta students.
Course Curriculum Overview
I always wanted to pursue my career in the medical field. You are studying approx same syllabus which mbbs students are studying except the pharmacy and drugs related subjects. After UG you can apply for MD in homeopathy , msc, MPH etc. Syllabus has changed now ,few subjects have been added. Exit exam have to be given at the end of course to get your degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
In first year you have to 3200rs in which 2000 are refundable and you will received in your bank after completing the course. After first year you will have to pay 1250rs per year. You will also have to pay exam fees which will be around 2k. There is no placement cell in medical field even if you get admission in aiims.
Campus Life
Aaroh a cultural fest is celebrated for a week in which students can participate in activities acc to their choice like singing dancing rangoli competition debate, poetry, dramas, fashion show etc. Library is also there which is also air conditioned. There are approx all books present related to medical field. Inter college sport competition are also done with tibbia and other medical colleges. Council elections are done every year where interested student can give their name for president, vice president, general sec, sports sec etc.
Admission
You have to be 16+ . You have to clear neet exam to get admission. There are total 125 seats in which 10% are for ews ,27% for obc, 18% for sc+st and few seats are for handicapped, jammu kashmir migrant, and for children of army personal. 85% seats are for delhi student and rest for all india. Counselling process will be done online, after getting seat in nhmc you have to present physically to get your admission process done. Your certificate should be upto date like character certificate is valid for 6 months only. If you are Availaing ews Or obc qouta then be sure that certificate is made after 1 April of the year.
Faculty
There are approx 20-22 professors but guest lecturers also come to take classes. All guest lecturers are so good and experienced. Junior residents also take classes . Jrs and guest lecturers are approachable, they are very helpful. Professors of this college are always seem busy. Only 2-3 professors are regular.
