Campus Life
People come here from all parts of the country, though it must be noted that at least 60% of students are previously MBBS-aspirants. You’ll find people from all sorts of socio-economic backgrounds here, but the majority will, more often than not, be down to earth, simple boys and girls. Extracurricular activities though not much focused are still there
Hostel Facilities
Students generally tend to carry their lunch from home, unless they want to trust their lives with the hospital canteen. Which, by the way, serves no food – only juices but yes its in Defence Colony market, where you can find coffee shops, high-end restaurants as well as cheap eateries.

Admission
The admission procedure for Nehru Homeopathic Medical College (NHMC) is as simple as ABC. The college issues an admission form which needs to be collected, filled in and submitted alongwith attested copies of certain necessary documents such as your marksheets, a character certificate, category certificates (if applicable) etc. before the stipulated time. A merit list is then put up according to the Physics-Chemistry-Biology (PCB) scores [in case of a tie in the scores, date of birth is considered and the older candidate is preferred above]. If your name crops up on the list and you wish to seal your admission you just need to go to the college (before the date slips away), deposit the necessary fees and complete other admission formalities. The college generally comes up with three such lists; the procedure remains exactly the same for all. Well, that's about it!
Faculty
Minimum qualification for professors here is at least 5 years of practicing experience. Most professors have more than 10 years of experience, and there are some who have even more than 15! In spite of this, they are empathetic to the needs of students, and are very friendly. Students develop an excellent rapport with the faculty over the course of time.
