Course Curriculum Overview

Campus is specific a specific aspects of the circilum that influenced my decision to choose this course , nothing helps to prepare me for real world applications or further academic pursuits,I could not able to recognise course circullum and teaching methods,the frequency and timings of exams are good .

Class Size: 10Course Fees: INR 112000 per year

Placement Experience

From 5th sem student are eligible for placement drives,till now I am in 5 th sem many company visited some of those are wonder cement and posist,I not exactly know the package offered but average should be 3 to 4lpa, 50 to 70 percei student got placed in campus, getting the job is my plan .

Fees and Financial Aid

My tution fee not increase but new admission students got more to pay and it could not justify,58500 per semester is complete tution and other charges cost,cucet is the name of scholarship is provided by the college and you can avail 20 to 100 percentage of scholarship,no any stipend and job role not provided.

Campus Life

Many festival are celebrated in the campus,ther are many library are there in college but in uic campus only one and you can take books from the library for 10days or so on , the faculty and technological provision within the classroom is good ,sports are played in the college ,I don't know about any social group

All hostels are not same in the university some student got good facility some got bad facility in same price ,meal are good in the hostel ,when you want to take hostel facility you have to contact with the faculty in the office, kharar is the locality for renting flats or pg

Minimum 50 percent is compulsory for admission in the bca course, you should contact to college on phone for admission,no I had not avail any reservation thats why I don't know about this, timings of exams are good,campus for the computer applications students should be in the main campus .

The ratio of teachers to student is good and learning experience is average ,the faculty's credentials are average and their approach to teaching and mentorship is good,and no one can hesitate to interact with teachers and approachability is convenient .

Placement Experience:

In our college we have the max amount of placement is 45 lakhs which is preety good for the student who got it. For placement they also train us for our communication skills , technical skills, general knowledge skills. They give chance to all the students to give the interview in which the company can interested in us. In the last semesters or last second semesters we can eligible for the placement. The companies visited in our college like MICROSOFT, TCS, AMAZON, GOOGLE, VIPRO, IBM. My plans after getting the degree is that to find the job for in-college placement. In BCA the companies can hier us in 5 lakhs to 10 lakhs package.

Best College in North India

Placement Experience:

I heard a lot about this college as this is the best college in north India for placement, which is true also, but not for mechanical. Only CS and ECE students get placed during campus placement, but wait, it's not that easy as the placement is done along with students of C.G.C Jhanjeri and Chandigarh University. So for every job, there are hundreds of students competing. Placement cells are very friendly and they help a lot during placement time and grooming sessions.

Placement Experience:

1) The students become eligible for placements in their last semester. 2)The companies visited are Microsoft, Tcs and lupin .there are no of offers made by the companies to various students. 3)The highest package is 30lpa and average package is 8lpa and profiles offered are of software engineer, software test engineer, etc. 4)Almost 80 percent of students got placed in every companies. 5)My plan is to do a master degree after my getting the degree.

A journey

Remarks:

Every thing have a good and a bad side in it. Let's take positive first. This university offers a great infrastructure and accommodation facilities. This university can be a heaven for sports lover. There are many clubs where you can show and enhanced your skills. Going through the negative prospective some times food of mess become a threat. And the faculty as I discussed earlier needs to be updated.

A honest review

When I was finalizing my decision, I compared my choosen college with the others on various parameters such as faculty, infrastructure, ratings, reviews, placements and extra curricular activities and co curricular activities and most importantly affordability that is fee structure. I haven't applied to any other colleges other than CU itself. The admission process of my college is eligibility that is you have to pass class 12th for my course bpt. If you opt for masters then you have to present a degree of bachelors for admission. The exam accepted for admission here in cu in cuchd, cuet,etc. if you clear any of these exams with good grades then you can get easy admission here in Chandigarh University. The cut off marks depends on the university itself. But try to score good to get admission here. The overall admission process for me was smooth from starting to the end.
