Course Curriculum Overview

4

Specific aspects of the curriculum that made me choose this course was. It was to deal with medical equipments. The job you would get after doing this course was in hospital industry. Which is a field which will never shut down. The curriculum helps you in understanding and working of the sophisticated machines which we use in healthcare industry. The teaching staff should focous on completing the syllabus. At the time of practical lectures only practicals should be performed and not theory lectures. They used to have a sem exam of 3 hrs in every 6 months. Besides that there used to be unit exam which was conducted in every 3 weeks. The sem exams were a little bit of difficult as compared to the unit exams.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

At the end of the semester. The last semester used to be a internship for 6 months in which you used to get a training and work experience for 6 months in a hospital or clinal. The companies were basically local hospitals and clinics in nanaded city and neighbouring cities.

Placement Experience

3.5

The students are eligible for placement only after the declaration of the last sem results. The hospitals were JJ hospitals, Medicover hospitals, MGM hospitals, Global hospital, Life multispeciality hospitals etc. The highest package given was around 3.15 LPA. The average packages offered were 1.50 LPA The profiles offered were of technician, sr.technician, machine handler etc. Average percentage of students getting placement were 78%.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees charged by the college was reasonable which you would get in government institutes. I don't have the complete cost of the education. But beside the tuition fees. Your most of the money will be gone into stationary materials which are to be brought from the college only.

Campus Life

2.5

None of the festival were held. Except of the farewel ceremony. The journals were strictly to be taken from the college stationary shop. Even if it was a project page, index page, journal or file everything was to be purchased from college stationary shop. Sports were offerd like football, cricket, volleyball and khokho they used to take the teams on district and state level. The campus life was literally like a hell. Majority of the students residing in were not all well mannered or well natured. Activities like theft and fights used to happen in the campus.

Hostel Facilities

1

The faculty only provided you with a room with a ceiling fan. The other stuff like matress.etc were to be brought by the students. The bathrooms didn't have any doors to lock. The water supply was in every 3 days water shortage was a normal thing. The toilets were unhygienic they were not flushed nor cleaned. The meal quality of the food given in the mess was horrible, tasteless and zero variety. I literally had to look for a canteen outside the college campus to eat everyday meals. Not me but many people had buy a rented room or stay PG outside the campus as many students were not having vacant rooms to stay in college hostel.

Admission

The course eligibility was 10th pass. A candidate can apply through online website aur offline mode also. Offline mode is little bit of hectic as the clerical staff is not that humble and cooperative. Online mode is much preferable a candidate can find all the details needed without going offline. More manpower should be added. The clerical staff should be cooperative and helpful.

Faculty

4

In the faculty there was like 1 teacher on every 35 students. The only thing good in the college was there teaching faculty. Although the infrastructure and ambience was not that good. But the teachers and professors were all excellent and highly professionals. The teachers, professors were always there for you to help. But the administration staff was not at all cooperative.

The curriculum is quite easy and more importantly it's more educational, professional and technical The curriculum is technical hence it prepares us best for the world applications and academic pursuits The areas of improvement are not much needed the curriculum itself is very good The timing for the exams is correct according to the length of paper and the difficultilty level..it specifically depends on the student
