Likes

The campus is really clean and filled with trees
Have well qualified teaching staffs, they are really suppoirtive, they help us in our curricular and non curricular activities

Hostel facility is not good as the food is terrible
Only vegetarian foof will be available in vanteen and hostel

The curriculum at Adi Shankara is highly relevant and comprehensive as it balances theory and practical applivations, with core subjects and elective tailored to career goals. Real-world preparation is strong through projects and internships,exams are fair

Class Size : 160Course Fees : INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

interships with stipend rarely comes, other than that many paid and free internships are provided from outside componies. Computer science and engineering students get many internship oportunities which is really usefull to improve or create a new skill.

Placement Experience :

students will be eligible for campus selection in 3rd year ( 5th sem), mostly IT componies will be there, ariund 60% of the students get jobs right after finishing the course. the average package is 3 LPA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

tution fees at adi shankara increases annually. several grants and scholarships are granted to students with financial problems. There are oppertunities for students to earn while studying, by being exam invigelator for outside exams ,etc.

Campus Life :

the main event in our college is called brahma it is usually conducted in odd even semesters. it is national level fest. the infrastucture of the college is good. all class rooms have projector and wifi. there are many groups and clubs like hack club, GDSC, tinkerhub, etc.

Admission :

the overall admission process was really easy, the faculties in the admission cell helped a lot through the process,They contacted me as soon as the admission was confirmed. Application form and other documents will be given to you by the faculties amd they will tell you what to do.

Faculty :

the faculty to student ratio is good as they have more than enough faculties. All the teachers help students in every way possible they support in all kind of curricular and extra curricular activities.

Campus is choosen wisely

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually the university curriculum is bit old fasion.Like the technology is a way head of the things that we are studying in the sessions.But the basis are well learned from it.The improvement we need in that is that to get out of the instituion as a proffesional that can handle the new technolgy that the real world work in.The curriculum is need to improve so much as per the technology improves the students want to know what all changes that are happening in the real world and they want to be trained according to that.

Placement Experience:

Our campus placement will begin from 7th semester. From 5th semester onwards college will provide training for placements and we have placement cell for this. An average LPA of 5 is provided from our college. Good amount of companies visit our campus for placement and we also get oppertunity to go for off campus placement

Placement Experience:

In the 7th and 8th semesters, the students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys, and Spyridian, are the companies that often come for placements .3 -4 lakhs is the highest package given by these companies.The percentage of students getting placement is about 50-70. My plan is to go for higher studies or to go for a job.

SEEING STCET THROUGH MY VISION

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
